I know in broad strokes where I want this story to go, but haven't finagled all the minutia into the right places ahead of time. Trying to get all the little bits and details 100% locked in before I even start usually just....prevents me from ever starting anything in the first place. So I'm gonna fight that urge off the best I can and just go for it.

If all goes well, I'll see you here in a week with more.

Front loading this thing with detailed establishing shots was a great idea from a motivation standpoint, lemme tell ya.

2.5” squares. Small enough to fit all 9 panels on standard letter size pages. (Also small enough so I don’t go totally overboard with adding in all those details.) I’m using a Prismacolor .005 for the bulk of the inking.

So this morning I realized that I needed an entire page's worth of additional panels to happen before the page I had intended for today. Side effect of mostly winging it. Despite my best effort, I'm only at 6 out of the 9 after working at it all day. Page will probably be happening tomorrow instead.

There is such a striking amount of detail in these drawings, it's insane!
No idea what's happening, but something about a guy who buys retro video games he already has somehow strikes a familiar chord with me.

Due to an anticipated IRL schedule change, I’m bumping my posting day from Saturday to Sunday going forward. I’m going back to retail soon. Sunday evening will be the only consistent guaranteed time off, since the mall’s not open after 6 then. Instead of remembering to post on a lunch break or other schedule weirdness, I think it’s better to move the date instead of deal with all that.
