REQUEST FOR SCRIPTS for the Top 50 Unique Lines of Dialogue Delivered Within A Video Game (spoken or written) Show with Puppet Von Puppington, Esq.

This hand of mine glows with an awesome power... wait, no, that's not a video game. (Well, it's in SRW I'm sure, but it didn't originate in one.)

Annnnnyway I ran short of time so I'm afraid my list is well over 50% ZVGQ by volume, but it's in!

I just submitted my list also!
I sort of just had to stop at some point. I kept thinking of things. At some point, i just was like, well hopefully someone else will cover such and such game.

Great scott, 13 submissions so far with 1 day left on the clock! A little reminder, folks, that if your memories of video game quotes of yore needs the gift of time to be coaxed into manifestation, simply send the human WildcatJF a quick scribble via pigeon...

Direct message, Puppet.

...do we not use birds as intended in this country?
marina.jpg
...all I know is that birds keep stealing my Crispy Sean fries...

Right. Then, a quick scribble via Direct Message and we'll get you sorted. My humblest of thank yous thus far for this bounty of spoken word!

We had a singular request for extending the deadline, so it appears we hit a total of 15 nominations! Cracking! In the interest of further diversification, I have executively decided to allow any and all submissions that slide in under my door today to participate. Truly our sunset!

Polls are closed! Marina, how many submissions did we ultimately receive?
marina.jpg
15! And after tabulating the votes, we have 59 total quotes through ties to serve as our results!
puppet.jpg
Smashing! Well, time for me to channel my acting SPIRIT and get into the recording booth! We will share the first tie this weekend!
marina.jpg
...that's 12 separate quotes...are you sure you want to tackle them all at once, Puppet?

I am a thespian, dear girl, I LIVE FOR THESE MOMENTS!

Well, uh, I wasn't expecting my whole list to be represented in one of these, but I guess there's a first time for everything.

marina.jpg
To be clear, we had 263 separate quotes submitted, with the point culminations ending in 59 total quotes being in "a top 50".

On double checking the math, I accidentally didn't include points for half of one person's list, so things shifted around a bit with the corrected numbers. Still 59 "top 50" quotes, just some slight reordering here and there, and one got bumped out of the initial set to a higher position.

So, for a little errata outside of my scripted stuff, I will be doing a first video this weekend of 11 quotes, and then I'm going to probably do a group of 5 - 6 up through tenth place, then do 2 a weekend after that. New thread for the results will pop up Saturday!

This is definitely one where I'm excited to see everyone's lists at the end. That's a LOT of stuff that didn't make it which of course makes sense for what this is.

This is one of the few times I couldn't make a full list. A lot of them just don't stick with me and with some exceptions, a lot of the more iconic ones don't speak to me as strongly. Still, I got up to 20. And I'd be shocked if no one else didn't pick my #1.

I definitely had the more iconic quotes further down my list because I figured they didn't need a lot of help.

There was one in my top 5 though because I just couldn't bear to put it any lower.
