I'm really curious if those of you who are struggling to get to 25 are going to have overlap or not. This is going to be a really interesting one.

I ended up excluding fables/myths entirely for no particular reason and my list has a lot less theatre and movie stuff than I initially thought it would. I started with about 50 after going through Backloggery and Goodreads to refresh my memory but I don't see a lot of my list making the final 25. I had a ton of fun making it and revisiting characters I hadn't thought of in a while.

Huh, now I feel like I forgot someone really obvious. But I also just threw a very small list together, due to forgetting until a few hours ago, and not having much time today. But it was hard enough, coming up with the seven I did.

As verdicts go, that's probably even better than not guilty. I certainly wouldn't complain.

Well, I got mine in. Only 5 entries, and I had to cheat and put someone in her 50s to get a WoC on there, but with most lists I use Google to jog my memory and it was no help here.

I initially had a great villain played by someone who is famous for being older but then I realized she wasn't that old yet and was like 39 in that role and at best I think her character is in her mid-40s (though it meant she had a son at a relatively young age.)

Thanks for the lists folks! I'm working on tabulating but got a bit sidetracked last night and have pub quiz tonight (maybe the last one while it's still warm enough to sit outdoors) so if anybody still wants to squeeze a submission in this evening, go for it. I'm aiming to get started posting on Friday.

Finished most of my data entry but I'm signing off for tonight and haven't started writing anything, so if anyone wants to sneak in a past-the-last-second list feel free to send one tonight. Adding to short lists is also easy if anyone wants to tack on more votes.

Right now we've got just about enough that a character needs two votes to sneak into the Top50 (though two votes doesn't guarantee an appearance). Got a lot of variety, should be a fun list!

Random fun fact: there are currently 20 votes spread across 11 different entries for characters whose common names start with "Gran".
