Also the trailer being "Anime E.T. The Extra Terrestrial" at Ghibli-Levels of heartwarming/adorable right up to the moment where ET comes back 20 years later and has grown into total douchebag/Genocidal space warlord is a FUCKING AWESOME short film all by itself.

Then it going "Oh by the way I'm actually No More Heroes 3" elevates it beyond perfection.

Glad they recentered the odd jobs, I understand why they streamlined things in 2 but I feel the original gameloop is superior.

I just started this tonight! I had almost totally forgotten that the setup to this one was “asshole E.T. comes back to Earth with his shitty friends and Travis fights them”. It’s so good!

There is a lot more Travis Strikes Again DNA in NMH lll than I was expecting. You really have to use those chip abilities regularly, just like in that game. I died three time on the first boss.

I especially love how Travis is threatening to bossmonsters and the like not because he's well trained or incredibly skilled, but because he's weaponized being a stupid loud jackass.
