You recruited a healer in your person phase. To do that, you had to play your healer card. If you want to recruit another healer, you'll need to spend one of your two wild cards.

Anyway, I have two questions of my own.
First, do person points translate to score in any way at the end of the game?

Second,

Anytime you add a person to a palace, including at the start of the game, you advance on the person track according to the person's person value. (Note that if you take a person who you immediately fire, that person was never placed in your palace.)

The parenthetical implies that if you fire someone you hired in a previous month, you still keep their person points?
