I’d say Facebook as a company is an even worse corporate citizen than Twitter as a company, but yeah, as social media platforms they’re both super toxic.

What makes FB worse is its sheer user volume and targeting of misinformation. Twitter has something like 400 million users. Facebook has about 2.9 billion. The garbage it happily lets stand just gets to so, so, so many more people.

Plus Facebook ad Instagram's algorithm allow a lot more racist and misogynistic content to target people than Twitter or even YouTube. The BBC recently did a piece on it.

Well at least unlike Google/Alphabet they appear to be all in on this. Oculus Quest and Facebook Portal are both getting rebranded as Meta Quest and Meta Portal starting the end of the year.
