Johnny Unusual
(He/Him)
I'd only say there's one particularly interesting one this week, but still.
Schneider's Hot Rod
Are Hot Rods Canadian? I feel like they are. Basically, they are Slim Jims, which I think we also get.
Kitkat Gooey Double Chocolate
I do love KitKats and this seems like entirely the kind I like.
Happy Easter Chocolate Lentils
OK, this might need context for some American readers and even some Canadian ones... if just the use of the term "lentils" for this candy. Lentil doesn't refer to ingredient but in shape and these are basically non-brand versions of the Canadian snack "Smarties". Unlike American Smarties (which we have at Halloween as "Rockets"), these are more like slim M&Ms with a slightly harder milk chocolate and a thicker candy shell. I feel like there's a debate if M&Ms or Smarties are better but they are both great and both different yet similar. I used to remember that "lentil" was used to describe the shape but forgot until today.
Hubba Bubba Bubble Tape
Is this the original bubble tape or simply the most popular. Curious to see how it compares to the rather flawed different brand bubble tape I had a month or two back.
Margaritaville Margarita Drink Mix
It's weird to make Margaritaville your brand. Isn't that song about alcoholism or something? Anyway, I don't know if I've ever had a real margarita but I've had similar drinks. I actually don't drink alcohol very often at all but a light citrus-y drink is up my alley.
Strawberry Fanta
One of the more boring Fantas.
Pringles Cheddar Cheese
One of the more boring Pringles. But I'm sure I'll like it. That said, does anyone know what, if anything, a kite has to do with Cheddar. Is this a non-sequitur or a clever allusion?
Astronaut Apple Cinnamon Wedges
I vaguely remember having astronaut ice cream. Anyway, I mostly bought this because it was 40% off and I certainly didn't want to buy this at a full price of $8.50.
