The time has come! It's the instrumentdome! I won't go into too much detail but I want to thank @Kirin @Torzelbaum @Cadenza @Violentvixen @Exposition Owl @WildcatJF @Lokii @Alex @ravinoff @Issun for contributing. If you haven't contributed to the nominations, or don't know what this is, basically we have sets of two songs and vote on which we prefer and the winner moves up the tournament bracket till we have just one winner!

In this case, everyone picked one instrument and chose 4 songs that contain them. Here are the instruments chosen!

Landslide and Voiles

I've heard The Chicks version of Landslide much more often in the last few years so did have to take a moment to confirm the original wasn't on banjo too when I was working on nominations
 
As much as that synthesizer is a fascinating piece of kit, I have to hand it to Stevie Nicks.

Fun fact! “Voiles” means “sails” in French, so Debussy’s piece is sort of an abstract tone poem about boats on the water. So, Land & Sea.

Did anyone else have an issue with the audio not playing for the synthesizer video? I can't get any audio for it on my laptop but I was able to hear it on my phone.

And that modular synth is interesting but I gotta go Landslide.
 
Landslide wins it by a margin I cannot for the life of me put into metaphor and Voiles says viola!

Also want to mention that I think it should be a consideration going forward that, if preliminary rounds are necessary that every person who submits tracks should get at least one automatic advancement.
