Gunnerkrigg status: Still rad!

GC is so different from HP, that comparison never crossed my mind. Yeah, both are at magical schools, but that aspect alone - did we ever see a class, outside of situations that are not about the class, like when Annies father came back? Like, the whole structure is different, as are the themes.

I have a hard time finding similarities, aside from "teenagers in a magic boarding school".
 
Yeah, they're very different stories, it's just the premise that's so similar though, that it inevitably draws the question, whenever you start explaining it to someone who doesn't know it. At least that's been my experience, and I suspect Tom's as well, given the last page.

I'm kinda liking how gradually/organically this story has morphed into "What if Regina George had an army of disposable soldiers."

Y'see, Jenny is a Zerg player and is turning her friends into structures so she can capture Zimmy's space.
 
Prior to getting sucked into Zimmyspace there was some faint flirty comments between the two. Guess Reynard was just making subtext into text.
