It's an entire substantial sport-mini-games and fetch-quests RPG complete with anime OP. Dang.

After poking around a bit to see the scope of it I concluded I don't really have time to get fully into this right now, but it's sure cute.

I wonder how long they'll keep it up. I know there's a Doodle archive (somewhere) but something as substantial as this I may want to, well, keep around for a while.

Please just let me download this game to my phone! It's neat, but it moves slow running off of whatever it's running on.

I played it for a little bit. The skateboarding game was my favorite.

I beat the 6 main games, but then there are 20+ trophies to earn by helping people out and I'm sure harder difficulty games. I was not up for that.

The animated intros and finales to all the sporting events are really good. Did Google pay a Japanese animation studio to make them? I looked it up. Studio 4C did all the animation. Same studio did the animation work for Hard Corps Uprising and Catherine. I'm a fan of their work.

It was certainly cute enough to pierce my issues with Current Events and have me check it out at least for one game, yeah. It's clearly to commemorate the Olympics, but at least it's a cute little thing to enjoy independent of that.
