Games that lose something on an emulator

If I had a dollar for every time I see some kid whining about how the right stick doesn't do anything in N64 or Dreamcast games they decide to emulate. Or hell, half the Playstation library.

Any DS/3DS game is going to be compromised in some uncomfortable way.

And... basically anything Kojima has ever done, of course.

Boktai! Sure, emulator features will let you pretend you're covering the light sensor with your thumb, but it's not the same.

There is a romhack that lets you turn the sun brightness up and down. It’s for sure not the same, but it’s a lot better than trying to play the whole game at 0 light.

When you turn up the sun brightness it should white out the screen so you can't see, for the true experience.

funnily enough they actually made a sequel that doesn't require a light sensor.

I believe Lunar Knights does allow you to use the sunlight sensor if you plug a boktai gba game into the GBA slot, which is cool!

Not sure how well implemented it is though.
