Games I don't want to make

Power is fleeting, love is eternal

I do have some ideas about games I might want to make in some vaguely defined future, and therefore want to keep close to my chest. But this thread is for posting/discussing ideas for games that you're certain you don't want to make, because they're to complicated, or too crazy, or for any other reason. But maybe the ideas could inspire someone else to make it, if they want. The reason I wanted to start this thread was that I woke up this morning with the follow strange idea in my head:

Elevator Pitch: It's like Pokémon, but you collect books of the Bible.
Longer Description: You start out with a very simple "Bible", say with one book from the Old Testament and one from the New Testament. Then you have to travel around the game world and battle enemies with the powers you get from these books, and collect more books to gain more powers. The different books would have different stats, so Leviticus would have a big "practicality" stat, while Revelation would have a big "symbolism" stat, or something like that. Maybe have some kind of deck-building mechanic where you can't have all your collected books in your Bible at once, but have to select which ones are most important for which battles. Oh, and maybe you can gain various overal stat-bonuses depending on which translation you choose, or if you find a Dead Sea Scroll. Of course, there would be some really hard to find apocrypha books with special powers.

I imagine the "enemies" could be stuff like Megami Tensei-style demons or other supernatural entities with various weaknesses, but maybe also some kind of powerful biblical scholars with various focuses that you have to engage in theological debate-battles with by "throwing the book(s) at them", as it were. If you want to be flashy, you could have cool attack animations based on notable passages from the various books. So you scream "Let there be light!" and the screen flashes as you use Genesis, for example.

There would of course also be a "Bible-dex" of some kind, where you could read the real-life history of the various books. And with the storage capacities available today, I don't think it'd be entirely unreasonable to simply but the complete texts of each book into the game for those curious enough to read them. I mean, they managed to fit the whole King James Bible onto a Game Boy cartridge back in the day.
Why I don't want to make it: I'm sure that by now you can imagine a few reasons, but the most practical one is that I'm not actually a biblical scholar, and I imagine you'd have to be a pretty good one make this work. Heck, you'd probably need a few of them to work out the various stats and balances. And then there's of course the fact that even with the most careful and thought-out approach, there will most likely be some pretty upset people. I'd like to imagine the game to be a celebration of the many-faceted aspects of the Bible and Christianity in general, but even then, you're gonna get some letters. I'd imagine the patch notes would be pretty wild.

You know what, feel free to move this to the Pit if you think it's more appropriate. I'm not entirely sure how serious I'm being. I just needed to get this strange idea out of my head.

A new Mortal Kombat game using the same live action photography technique to create the characters as the first three but with lots more frames and resolution thanks to newer tech. It could be an HD remaster of one of the originals.
