If you want this place to be able to do something it can't, tell us about it here. We'll assess the feasibility and usefulness of each request and prioritize them accordingly.

I'd like to have a bolder style for unread titles in the Watched tab. As it is my poor eyes have to take a real close look to make a distinction between read an unread thread.

Also, I've noticed there's no favicon. I assume one's coming?

EDIT: Nevermind, looks like a goof on my part (I though a thread was read but wasn't) and the bold style is good as it is. The favicon comment stands, though :p

An equivalent of the old [thumb] tag would probably be good.

This is incredibly minor and stupid and should be last on the list of things, but any thoughts on a browser tab icon? Is that something that's easy to do?

Another vote for a favicon! :hop:

Oh, dammit. Where are my inline icons? :toastybert:

While there is no standardized [thumb] tag, you can specify a maximum inline width for your images with , and they will expand in-modal on click.

That covers the [thumb] use case, but if there's still interest in a dedicated [thumb] tag, we could consider it.

On the old forums, there was a dropdown selector at the bottom of a page that let you move to any subforum on the site. There does not appear to be a similar widget in Xenforo and it would be swell.

Seconded. It is currently very difficult to find nu-TT in my warren of tabs.

How about posts that I've already read in the "What's New" tab disappear instead of just unbolding?

You can get this by clicking "new posts". It defaults to filtering out read posts (although you can click the 'x' on the filter to show them anyway).

I think it would also be a good idea to make the pronoun field visible in the little hover-over card alongside location.
I've added it to the user detail area -- there was plenty of room there anyway.

If you just paste a link, it looks like this:

If you use the media embed button, it looks like this:

The forums claim to support it, but not all browsers may display it correctly. What do you see?

Oddly, both of these are embedded here, and I see them fine. I tried editing my other post where I learned of this, though, but the button didn't work-- it just produced another link.

Trying to show you what I see raises another question, however: Can we upload images to the forum here?

And as long as I'm here, is it safe to bookmark the current URL, or will that be changing once the old forum is shut down?

Uploads have been disabled (with the exception of avatars, I think) to minimize bandwidth concerns.

At the start of September, talking-time.net will point to the new forums. You can bookmark the current URL if it helps you out between now and then, but at that point, the current URL will point to the old forums until they're offline.

I have to admit to being spoiled by discord -- I love just being able to copy images from wherever, and paste them without having to futz with IMG tags (yes I know there's a button but still)

Oh hey, I went back to my first attempt, and now the embed works!

And in the process of coming back here, got a new one: This thread is two pages now, but I have to go through the first page to get to the second -- no page numbers on the thread listings page. I shudder to think of what happens if we get to double or even triple-digits!

Being able to read the threads in 'reverse chronological order' please!
On the list of threads, open the "filters" menu and check out the "sort by" options.

There is no capability to list the posts within a thread in reverse chronological order.

Is it possible to default to "new posts"? It always seems to revert back to "what's new"

You can bookmark the "new posts" URL, or you can click the little arrow next to "What's new" and select "New Posts."
