.... I mean it's a cool science fact, but wouldn't that make your baked goods taste like iron?
The cooking probably does something, but I think I've had black/blood pudding and it had only a mild metallic taste?

I think you can buy sheep blood for cooking but it's definitely not something I often see.

I really feel like I should be able to answer this, it's apparently TOO WEIRD of a science fact.

The end of that video reminded me there was an awesome food truck around here that used basically hollowed-out subs like that and filled them with brats with cool sauces and such. They were really good! And convenient to eat! I wonder if they're still running...

Excellent riffs aside, I've had beer with pretzels in before and it's fine. As long as you know what you're doing, you can feed your yeast almost any kind of carbs during fermentation and they'll turn them into alcohol. My local brewery used to make a fall beer with entire pumpkin pies put into it and it was delicious.

OK, Britain, I just have to ask

How hard did Brexit hurt you

(No, the chef being Mexican--or so the replies claim--does not excuse this. Not one bit. There's zero "Mexico" in that "English-Mexican fusion." There's zero anything.)

WTF

I couldn't resist looking up the menu and pumpkin is apparently allowed as a local ingredient for other dishes? Oh and rattlesnake chili, that's definitely very British. Baffling.

.... You know, we went to war against the french for a lesser offence.

(OK, we lost that one, but there's a good chance of us winning this one because british troops will be malnourished)

I once read "England is a country who invaded the majority of the world in search of spices and then promptly decided it didn't like any of them."

I have a feeling that if someone were to put that stuff on the table in front of me, I would actually try some. The French call this l’appel du vide.
