Time for nominations for the next list!

People who want to host submit their topics. Here are the general rules.

1) So I don't miss your submission, please BOLD your suggestions.

2) Please no joke suggestions. At least, not in BOLD. People have some whimsical ideas for lists so I don't want people submitting a list and I put it up and then they are like "jk, stupid!"

3) If you give a BOLD suggestion, YOU must host. Granted, if something comes up you are free to pass the duty onto another but I just don't want people submitting lists under the assumption that SOMEONE will do it.

4) One submission for person please.

5) Don't insult or put down another person's suggestions. Discussing feasibility, concerns or issues with it are fine, but please don't just say "well, that's a stupid topic". At least one person thinks it isn't.

Excellent question. This is all encompassing. The theatre, movies, even podcasts. You know how every TV show has to have one musical episode? Any of those musical episodes count.

There are also TV series that are musicals like Crazy Ex-Girlfriend or Schmigadoon. You would be allowed to include just the whole show, assuming that every episode is a musical (or a non-musical episode is an outlier).

I wouldn't include Steven Universe the show because not every episode has a musical number and most have just one. BUT the Steven Universe movie IS a musical AND the episode Mr. Greg is a musical episode so those would count as separate entries.

List of Popularity Contest You Want to See

What popularity contests would you like to see happen but maybe don't want to host. For me, I want top 50 Sports. I'm not a sports guy but I love sports manga/anime and that would make it easy for me to make a list.

This time around I'm more in the mood to throw Top 50 Video Game Characters in the ring again. {I know last time I tried it was protagonists but I'd like to broaden the pool a little bit). We did enemy mooks and boss fights but I thought it'd be fun to do a list of the characters we play as and interact with in games.

We did fighting game characters so I wonder if we should exclude the ones from that list in a broader list like this.

Edit:
(We've also done Mario characters, Zelda characters, Robot Masters and Pokémon.)

Yeah, my first thought was that's a super broad topic... but then, I just did "any plant in any context" so I guess I'm not one to talk, lol. Could be interesting to see what shakes out, but I'm guessing the lower half of the list will end up being "anything more than one person voted for".

I personally don't believe you should weed out a subtopic just because it's been done on its own. If you go broad, allow any possibility. But that's Issun's call if his is the winner 🏆

I think it'll shake out okay. It always does. Plus I think we'll get some neat surprises and can you really predict with any certainty who will place at #1?

Oh, and to be clear, a mini-list should be at most-ish half the size of a regular list and as short as you want. (Top 2 sides of the coin, for example) but even there we can do some wiggle room.

I do but also based on past experience, depending on how many contributions, I'm thinking of including "what not both" to the pollnsince several people have said "I wanna do both so I'm not voting". I figure this option will, to use cynical business terms, get "more engagement".
