There are nesting Golden Eagles near me, and even better they have a nest cam! According to the article it's the only one in the US and they currently have two eggs.

My partner and I have been using Merlin for tracking sightings for a couple years, and had been using BirdNET alongside for sound ID. Nice to have it folded into the same app now, and probably with a growing data set since Merlin probably has the biggest user base of bird apps.

This bird dance battle has the best soundtrack.
My old apartment's window looked out on...a six-foot-wide not-even-alley between the next building's raised common area. It sucked for sunlight and sound reflection from other windows in the same building. But, it was covered in vines and there was a ledge at equal height to my window, and for several years I had hummingbirds nesting in the vines, and pigeons nesting on the ledge. I'd have 2-3 pigeon nests each year, including at least one couple with distinctive markings that returned to the same nest multiple years. I learned that pigeon babies are adorably hideous little lumps, with their yellow fuzz and lumpy everything. Also that male and female pigeons take turns sitting on the nest! Most nests had 1-2 babies at a time, but I think one year one nest might have had 3 make it out of the nest. I miss my pidgies.

A reply on Twitter said this is a Brazilian folk song, and I think I found a recording and the lyrics here. Dunno, but it does sound like the parrot is saying Gato at one point and a yeowl at the end.
If true it's fantastic that this parrot is drunkenly singing about throwing sticks at cats.
