I wonder if we'll ever get to expand our houses further. It's not like I couldn't use it.
I hope we eventually have the option to open our houses to the villagers, maybe even just to some rooms or floors. For example, just have a neighbor villager drop in while home. Or give close friends the options to pop by and enjoy the living room or kitchen. I just don't spend much time -in- my home because it feels sorta lifeless without animal buddies going about.

apparently i've been a 5 star town for a while now, all i needed to do was clean up the entryway where i had dumped a bunch of diy cards and fossils for folks to pick over.

Eh, I don't miss this. Invariably in New Leaf when I'd go into my house for a moment with the intention of immediately leaving a villager would knock on the door and I'd be stuck standing in the house making small talk until they left. It was always just kind of awkward and annoying.
I don't mind my animal friends no longer showing up randomly at my house in New Horizons (Freya did this just recently in my New Leaf town when I was trying to do furniture shit), but I do miss inviting them over to see my place and visiting them to take some of their junk home.
Like, throw in the bubbling pool and just give me the choice of whether the visit is immediate or at a later time.
Also kinda miss the time capsule stuff but given that you can reshape the very terrain you live on now I totally understand why that's no longer there. "Uh, sorry Margie, I forgot that spot was where I buried it when the marks disappeared the next day. Now it's a river."

I mean, I turned my main room into a restaurant -- twice! It might be nice to have some customers now and again.

i wish they'd raise the limit of things you can order per day from 5 to 10 or so - it takes two days to order enough books for a bookshelf...
i also get that, like, new horizons was designed to sell nintendo online subscriptions and all, but man i wish it were easier to get your hands on color variants of items.

On the subject of variations, there's a few things that are weird to me.
- You can customize the mushroom wand but you can't customize any of the flower wands. (I guess gold rose would put roses over the arbitrary eight variations limit but it could be its own special DIY like other gold stuff)
- Flower furniture is all limited to three variations when there's more than three flower colors.
- You can't customize chalkboards or whiteboards ever. It is so weird to me that you have to find a blank chalkboard.
- The utility pole with ads really feels like it should be a customization option with custom textures available instead of the prime difference between the two orderable utility poles.
- No sky blue cute wall or cute flooring. Like, I get if the designers didn't want too many color variations of the same floors and walls (they look limited to four), but it would've been nice if exceptions had been made for ones that go with furniture sets.
Yeah, I'm still trying to get my hands on a black version of the Luchadore figure.

I really hope some version of ordinances comes up soon. I'm generally not getting onto my Switch to play until after 9 or 10 so the shops are closed.
Honestly I was expecting the extremely depressing torture porn bang bang to win but I'm still disappointed that it actually did. =/

All bugs caught! The Dung Beetle is kind of terrifying looking in this game.

I think at least one of the snowballs need to be relatively larger to merge with another. I've only done it once now in New Horizons, but in prior games the bottom one had to of a minimum size and the second top ball didn't have much of a size requirement. It use to be the bottom ball had to be pretty big, and the smaller one of about half its size for a 'perfect' snow person. I'm not sure what the perfect ratios in NH are yet, though.
I think my island has too much stuff on it for snowballs to spawn. This is the third day of snow and I still can't find one!?
