AestheticallyPleasingAnimalsDome - survival of the fairest

We're starting round 4 now. Here's the bracket.

Match #37:

This isn't a fantasy but we do have a dwarf dog versus a snow fairy as lincolnic's Pembroke Welsh Corgi goes up against Violentvixen's Shima Enaga. (Or you could say this a battle of good boy versus good borb.)

Trivia:
Pembroke Welsh Corgis are famous as the preferred breed of Queen Elizabeth II, who owned more than 30 royal corgis during her 70 year reign

Most other long-tailed tits have distinct black "eyebrows" that sweep above their eyes but Shima Enaga lose those when they become adults and
so they have a pure white face.

Capybaras are semiaquatic mammals. They are superb swimmers that have slightly webbed feet and can hold their breath underwater for up to five minutes at a time.

Fennec fox families dig out burrows in the sand for habitation and protection. Their burrows can be as large as 1300 square feet (120 square meters) and multiple families will connect their burrows together.

Corgi and fox, or, Big-Eared Buds.

But holy crap if there was ever a post where I wished I could vote for all four entries, it's this one.

Trivia:
Chinchillas are named after the Chincha people of the Andes, who once wore their fur and ate them.

"Ravens usually travel in mated pairs, although young birds may form flocks. Relationships between ravens are often quarrelsome, yet they demonstrate considerable devotion to their families."

Quokka are marsupials. They move in a similar manner to their kangaroo relatives - by hopping & bounding or moving forward by using their hands.

Kiwi have the smallest eyes of all bird species (relative to body mass). Kiwi's eyes have minor adaptations for their nocturnal lifestyle, but the birds rely more heavily on their other senses. Their sight is so underdeveloped that blind specimens have been observed in nature, showing how little they rely on sight for survival and foraging.
