FYI, that's literally during my own Gloomhaven session, but I should be available earlier in the day if you want to try and fix the issue.

That said, if you want to try and take a stab at it without me, I'd suggest the following:
  • Take a snapshot of everyone's equipment/hands/XP/loot tokens so you can reproduce that after the fix, and keep a back-up save just in case.
  • Box up everyone's characters (except the Tinker, which is fine as is). There's an automated way to do this, but I don't have the mod in front of me; I think it's a button?
  • Subscribe to the mod called " Gloomhaven - Custom classes setup " in the workshop.
  • Add the envelopes from that mod for the new player classes (there's a bunch of other stuff from classes from the expansion, Frosthaven, and a bunch of fan-created custom classes that you can take/leave as you prefer). The correct envelopes should be boring and eggshell, just like the envelopes in the core mod.
  • Grab the boxes from those envelopes and drop them on the appropriate area and everything should handle itself. Then reproduce the state of everyone's characters/hands and you should be G2G, and all of the automation/bells and whistles should start working.
On that note, on other pieces of functionality that I didn't mention, since it would only work for one of you: you don't need to manually pick up loot tokens. If a player ends their turn on a loot token and then gets clicked as done on the initiative tracker, it will automatically move the token to their player board. Also, at session end (when you tell the mod that the scenario is over using the interface), it will automatically calculate XP/gold and add it to your sheets based upon the number of loot tokens on the board, the XP counter, and the current scenario level.

Oh, and make sure to put everyone's character standees on their player boards before you clean up post-session! It will delete *everything* in the centre area, including them if they are left there.

EDIT: I have the correct boxes imported now, so we should be set for this afternoon's game. I did NOT change out everyone's stuff for the new business, just mine so far. It doesn't take long and I figure it'll be quick enough for everyone to do their own individually as we get ready to play again. I had time so I did it.

Eh. I could go either way with those honestly. If you want to switch it up, I'll happily inherit the redguard, otherwise plan A of dashing all over stabbing things seems plenty fun.

I have played the rogue quite a bit in the app so would be happy to stick with the Redguard myself, just wanted to offer the option. They're kinda similar, actually; damage classes with a lot of low initiatives. So if you're fine either way let's stick with the original lineup.

It was fun watching another party play, and remembering those scenario's the first (or second) time through. If the next one happens in my time zone again I might sneak a watch again!

I have two games going on at the same time. I don't want to call one group "A" or "B" but the latter has had some epic failures....

So are we still waiting on results processing? A formal hosting system? Or are we in a sort of free-for-all where I can just go "hey, anyone want to have another game of this say, Friday or Sunday (or both even) at around 8 eastern?

It’s work and school so I haven’t had time yet to rebuild the game state. Soon now! Once that’s posted pickup games should be a go. We can post here or start a calendar of some sort. Just kick the save file forward after each game so the campaign is maintained.

EDIT: I will try and have this all prepared by the weekend so people can start playing as they like. I will plan to share the file from Google Drive and make a public Google calendar for the game, so planned sessions and sign-ups can be posted there instead of getting lost in the shuffle here.

I'd suggest pickup game sessions have at least one player who's familiar with both the game and TTS until everyone's tried it, since we've had some people who have only watched or who haven't been able to drop by at all yet.

All right, the save file is available here!

This is a re-creation of the postgame state from the first game we played. I think it's all accurate and hopefully the scripting will all work correctly. I didn't box anyone up, so if a different group configuration plays the next game please stick all their components in their player box and put it off to one side. Feel free to play anytime! New players will need to pull their character from the envelopes in the upper left, and someone who's played should take the lead in making sure the campaign state is updated at the end of each game (probably whoever's hosting, since it'll be their save file).

I will set up a calendar shortly for the group, but in the meantime just post here for pickup-game interest. Upload the new save file when you're done and put the old one in the archive folder.

I THINK anyone with the folder link should be able to download and upload the file, let me know if it doesn't work.

I downloaded the file and gave it a quick test drive and everything looks good! All of the scripting seems to be working for all 4 characters now (HP buttons, XP buttons, auto-looting, etc). The only thing I'll note is that the Max HP totals for several of the characters seems off, so whoever plays those 4 next will want to make sure to adjust their Max HP to whatever's appropriate. Also, when the event decks are first introduced, someone at the table will have to know how to set up/manage those correctly, and folks will also have to manage stickering/marking scenario availability/completion and achievements on the map board (it's all pretty intuitive, though).

Note that there is a "remove player" button that folks will want to use to automatically box everything up. Similarly, you can then "add player" and drop your box onto the slot to automatically unbox everything.
