What I really want to know with SM64 and Sunshine is what (if anything) they're going to do with the controls and camera. In particular I want to know about the way fludd's default spray is going to be like, because it really required analog triggers to be even halfway useful.

To me it looked like multiple levels integrated together, with the cat gates being the start of a level, and the lighthouses being the goals.

I am about 95% certain we will never be able to buy these games again after March. But Nintendo is weird and does weird things, so what the hell do I know

It wouldn’t be the first time Nintendo did a limited release anniversary game. The only difference here is the perceived value of the games in question and the fact there is a digital option this time.

I hope there's some new playable characters (unlockable or not), too. Yoshi or Pom Pom* could be fun, and I'd be surprised if Toadette doesn't get in since the model work's already done and the newer versions of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker changed the ending to link directly to Super Mario Odyssey instead of 3D World.

* Hey, if frickin' Nabbit can snag a playable spot in Luigi U I'm not writing off the possibility of a playable boss or two as a reward for going through the new content.

The 5 year old has all but picked Odyssey clean so this is good timing. She’ll probably get more out of 3D world than the collection but I’ve never not bought mario 64 when given the choice, certainly not going to start now.

GameXplain is reporting that Super Mario 3D World + will have online co-op multi-player. Also showed a couple of pics of the Cat Mario and Cat Peach Amiibo.

Just reinstalled Mario Kart Tour temporarily. I peaced out around the time I got my Funky and Dixie and realized I was just going through the motions, but I'll humor the game just long enough to do the My Nintendo bollocks required to maybe have a chance at getting those Mario pins.

They did that with Metroid Prime Trilogy. I missed the one and only pressing they did of that game and I couldn't find it for years! Then one day they put it up on Wii U digitally. You can still get it there in fact.

I've preordered All-Stars and the Game and Watch. 3D World will also be mine! 3D World seems to play faster than the original, I wonder what else they've changed (beyond touch screen stuff)

I didn't look at the footage too closely at first but looking again it's clear there's a new, different dive move more like Odyssey available in addition to the typical cat pounce attack from WiiU 3D World. Interesting, if only because I don't see any reason it's better than the old dive.

I paid real money for that Wii disc with a SNES game on it (to someone here, in fact! I can't remember who I bought it from now though...) and now the dang thing is just right there on SNESflix.

Anybutt I'll be getting 3D AllStars even if it's inexplicably without Galaxy 2.
