Positive Unpopular Music Opinions

Octopus's Garden has rad guitar work and anyone who doesn't like it can suck an egg.

My positive Ringo-related opinion is that the original "With a Little Help from My Friends" is superior to Joe Cocker's version, and fundamentally gets the point of the song a lot more (it's a self-deprecating song about being Ringo).

My positive non-Beatles opinion is that Smash Mouth's "Walkin' on the Sun" has really good lyrics.

There's at least half a dozen other twee unsufferable beatles songs that are harled as masterpieces I guess people just don't like octopusses

Ah, Octopus's Garden is alright. Kinda nice to hear I Want You after it, too. The only song in Abbey Road that i feel like skipping is Oh! Darling.

Hmm... I don't think i have any "positive unpopular music opinion". I don't listen to a lot of music, so yeah.

Ringo’s songs are some of the simplest but also generally some of the most catchy and iconic. I like the weird country twang that made it’s way into Octopuses Garden.

I unironically enjoy Panic at the Disco’s song High Hopes. I think it has something to do with the way it’s instrumented - all sharp brass and drums. It’s an odd compliment, but I think it would sound pretty good being belted out by a marching band in the stands at a football game.
