What's Streaming that I (BEAT) Won't Hate.

I have Netflix and HBO Max. My wife is away for the next two days and I'm going insane.

What can I put on that won't drive me mad?

WARNING: I HATE 99% OF ALL MEDIA, AND MY TASTES ARE DIFFICULT TO DEFINE AT BEST AND TOTALLY ARBITRARY AT WORST.

Twitter tried to help me find stuff earlier today and it was a massacre. BUT YOU GUYS HAVE KNOWN ME SINCE I WAS 19, SO MAYBE YOU'LL DO BETTER?!?!?!

Based on the contents of my own Netflix queue and my advance knowledge that this thread may be impossible to adequately fulfil;

Into the Badlands
Fargo
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Rascally Badger

El Capitan de la outro espacio
(He/Him)
I can think of quite a few things you would definitely hate. Is that helpful?

Some guesses;
Netflix: Happy!, The Good Place, Kung Fu Hustle, Hurricane Heist, I Think You Should Leave, Wet Hot American Summer First Day of Camp and/or Ten Years Later.

HBO Max: Congo, Gremlins 2, Doom Patrol, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Home Movies,

I just finished bombing through a rewatch of Community on Netflix and it is still great.

Raised by Wolves (HBO Max) has some giant skeletons. It feels a bit like Prometheus, except instead of being really dumb, it’s really weird instead. I have no idea if BEAT would like it.

That said I do have to commend all of you for not Recommending She-Ra or any reality shows about baking. Thank you for that.

The closest way to combine both is Yakitate!! Japan, the baking anime
Sadly, not on Netflix.

Better Call Saul 8s on Netflix. Watch it. Editing wise, it takes a lot from Sergio Leone movies with long largely quiet scenes of a plan being enacted.

Part of me wants to see you rant while/after watching something like Ancient Aliens, but I know that's just a selfish desire of me and that you'd hate the entire experience.

God I hate those shows, and anything else that works off the premise and assumption that ancient humanity was a bunch of morons that needed some enlightened group of aliens/gods/etc to help them pick their noses.

Or Aliens used to visit us all the time because the stuff we built was rad as hell and thought we were cool and picked up some architectural tips from mesoamerican tribes and now that we’ve grown up as a species they collectively realize that we kinda suck. And that the Sears Tower is a big step down from the Gardens of Babylon.

If it's on something you have access to, you'd probably like My Hero Academia. I think it fits into a circle with Dragonball, Megalobox, Rocky, etc very nicely.

I still think you're sleeping on Community because that is a show that is not afraid to get weird.

Hmmm. I haven't actually watched this so this could be way off, but based on its critical reception I wonder if Cobra Kai might work. It's the apparently bizarrely good TV series sequel to Karate Kid.
