(He/him)
1. Have you ever gone surfing?
2. If you were to have a sword fight, what kind of sword would you use?
3. Where's a really good place to go rollerblading?
4. What new kind of extreme sport would you like to create?
5. Which is your favourite Game Gear game?
1) Web surfing and channel surfing, yeah.
2) Long, sturdy, and light, hopefully.
3) I have NO idea.
4) Skateboard joust. Unless that's already a thing. It might already be a thing. Or maybe Skate or Die did it.
5) Coca-Cola Kid. GG Shinobi and Sonic Triple Trouble and Chaos are good, too.

Octopus Prime

Mysterious Contraption
(He/Him)
1. I have not!
2. Chainsaws count as swords, right? Otherwise; lightsaber.
3. My gut says “empty mall”
4. Grappling Hook based parkour
5. Kind of a toss up between Shining Force and Sonic Triple Trouble

Olli

(he/him)
1. Have you ever gone surfing?
Heavens, no

2. If you were to have a sword fight, what kind of sword would you use?
A plain short sword; I've read from somewhere that it's the easiest to use (with the obvious drawback of being shorter than a long sword so you need to get closer to use it)
3. Where's a really good place to go rollerblading?
The longest uninterrupted road descent in the world is 117 km (72 miles) long, in Peru between Concocha and Paramonga. The starting point is at 4095 m (13440 ft) of altitude, the end at 16 m (52 ft). So just go downhill all the way.
4. What new kind of extreme sport would you like to create?
Extreme karate
5. Which is your favourite Game Gear game?
I don't think I've ever even held a Game Gear so... Bubble Bobble?

1. Have you ever gone surfing?
I don't think I'm really cut out to be a surfin' bird. I'm not an especially strong swimmer. Moreover, it seems like surfing would require a lot of agility and good balance, but Dex is my dump stat.

2. If you were to have a sword fight, what kind of sword would you use?
If part of the deal is that I get the skill to wield the sword competently, too, I'd want one of the earlier, heavier rapiers with a basket hilt. Something more or less like this one:

LC-2010_200-002.jpg

3. Where's a really good place to go rollerblading?
I'm not much of a skater because, once again, low Dex, but I bet it would be fun to rollerblade along the Lakefront Trail in Chicago.

4. What new kind of extreme sport would you like to create?
When I was in college, I used to talk about creating a sport called hypothetical cricket, in which players would go back and forth making elaborate plans and counterplans about how they would survive, thrive, and score runs over the course of a series of increasingly unlikely events on a cricket pitch. A good hypothetical cricketer would need X-TREME levels of imagination, mental agility, and unpredictability in order to win.

5. Which is your favourite Game Gear game?
I've never actually touched a Game Gear, much less played a game on one, but I'm gonna say . . . Klax. It may no longer be the '90s, but it is still time for Klax.

1. Boogie Boarding is as close as I got.
2. Epee. Can't depend on something that requires strength, so I better go with poking and run away till I think I can get a poke in.
3. The extensive sewers of Paris.
4. Parkour boxing. If you fall behind your opponent to a certain extent, you lose.
5. Probably the first Sonic game that Game Gear had or maybe the Taz-Mania game.

Johnny Unusual

4) The one about family.
5) In a good way, or a bad way? If good, I guess I'll go with The Touch by Stan Bush.

Olli

(he/him)
1. What body part would you like to trade in for a new one?
Quite a few of them, but the ears would be a good start. Screw tinnitus.
2. Do you own a cat?
No, and I couldn't ever own one unless it was one of those hypoallergic ones, because I usually start getting heavy symptoms after about an hour with a regular feline.
3. When's the last time you sent mail?
Just yesterday.
4. Which is your favourite Fast and the Furious movie?
Let's say F8.
5. What musical number would be the best to judge humanity by?
"Once more with feeling" from Buffy

5) When's the last time you went to the mall?
1) That one where they try to bite everything in the room to figure out which item is made of chocolate. I've only seen the one gif, but that's really all I needed.
2) The one that hit me, I guess.
3) Wrath of the Dragon's Claw. Or Stabby-Stabby Die-Die.
4) I'm at a point where I'm really unsure whether it would be wise to do that at all.
5) When Kirby and the Forgotten Land came out. I think. Or did I go get Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection after? Maybe then. That was like, maybe a week later.

3) Gonna go with Mighty Max, though that might be based on my enjoyment of the cartoon rather than the toys.
4)
Ambient pop
Well, that's what I was gonna say. Specifically bubblegum.
5) Just one; Hap Ki Do

Johnny Unusual

(He/Him)
Yeah, it's easy to think of Art as one of the great comic guys but I admit I've only read Maus and maybe one or two short pieces. But he was heavily influenced by the super crass "underground comix" of the 60s. I mean, one of his early works was cw: size-based slur: Ace Hole Midget Detective.

1. It was that real early one where you can shoot pterodactyls and everything looked like it was somewhere between TRON and the Money for Nothing video
2. That Freddy Kruegar is only an Earth Problem is honestly baffling to me.
3. I tend to wear clothes with good skin coverage, so it's not really an applicable skill. Well enough I suppose; not really a talent that requires a lot of practice.
4. You put a gun to my head and the only jazz song I could name is Jazzman, so... I guess Carole King?
5. Don't instigate any wars

1) What was the first VR game you've ever played.
I actually still haven’t played any. If I had the choice, though, it would be either Myst VR or
Half-Life: Alyx.

2) Which horror movie character who hasn't been to space yet needs to go there?
Has there already been a “Wolfman on the Moon” movie? Because if not, there should be.

3) How good at you are applying sunscreen?
About average, I think? I don’t burn easily.

4) Which is your favourite jazz musician?
Oh man, this is a really hard one. Just for pure musicianship, it’s hard to beat Ella Fitzgerald. The things she did with her voice are absolute magic. If we’re asking about jazz composers, too, I’ll go with Miles Davis. Kind of Blue is certainly the jazz album I’ve listened to the most. Of living jazz musicians, I probably like Christian McBride the most. I even got to see him perform at the Village Vanguard, which was a real treat.

5) What can I do to bring world peace closer to reality?
Fight, Johnny Unusual! For everlasting peace!

Olli

1) What was the first VR game you've ever played.
Keep talking and nobody explodes, I think
2) Which horror movie character who hasn't been to space yet needs to go there?
I'm not a big fan of horror... Cujo?
3) How good at you are applying sunscreen?
Pretty good, I'd say! I haven't burned my skin decades.
4) Which is your favourite jazz musician?
Tough one. Let's say Ronny Jordan.
5) What can I do to bring world peace closer to reality?
Unionize. Organize local community activism. Gather people together under a common cause to get power from numbers.

1) Some flight thing on PS4 VR, I think? That, or an Occulus demo at the Microsoft Store (R.I.P.)
2) I dunno, Freddy? So he can continue his feud with Jason?
3) Poor.
4) I was going to say BB King, but he's more rhythm and blues, isn't he? Not sure...

1) What was the first VR game you've ever played.
The one Octo said. No idea of the name

Why no Ash in space?
3) How good at you are applying sunscreen?
I smear it on and turn myself into Powder from the movie Powder.
4) Which is your favourite jazz musician?
I don't listen to a lot of jazz but I do like Miles Davis
5) What can I do to bring world peace closer to reality?
Probably help out the community more like soup kitchens or something.
