Lets raise some magic horses- Let's Play Secret of the Magic Crystals!

Hello everyone, and welcome to let's play Secret of the Magic Crystals. I'm going to be going into this game completely blind, but I will attempt to fully complete this game.

What is this wondrous game?
I actually don't know much about it, so lets see what Steam has to say about it:
I don't know about you guys, but this looks like it should be good.



There are many magic horse simulators out there, why play this one?

Well, during the Summer Sale, I decided to make it my goal to spread A Certain Game to just about everybody I know. My reign of terror came to an abrupt end when a friend responded by gifting me this, which caused me to see the error in my ways. So, to make up for my horrible wrongs, I will be playing through this game to completion.

And with reviews like this, how could I not play this?

Ah yes, the legendary Ice-steed.

Yes, I'm guessing a lot of them will be pretty little, like around the four-letter mark....

Haha, I was going to say, what stories I've heard of the legendary horses Fire-Steed, Ice-Steed, and Demon-Steed (what?).

Looking forward to this very much.

I played this game for nearly half an hour once. It's like Prance Prance Revolution. Want your horse to haul some stuff? Play some Keyboard DDR. Want to mix a potion for your sick horse? Play some Keyboard DDR. Want to enter your horse in a race? Play some... actually, you don't do anything. The game just brings up a window that tells you whether you've won or not.

Although now I see that there's some DLC that adds an actual racing mode to the game. Are you going to be playing with this DLC, Rebelfire, or are you going to being enjoying Vanilla Secret of the Magic Crystals?

You know, I noticed the DLC but didn't think to get it. I may as well, just to make the experience complete.

Do it. It looks dreadful.

Although, admittedly, not as dreadful as the rest of the game.

It's worse than you can imagine. I messed with it some on my first recording, and, well, you'll see. It'll have it's own video and everything!

Literally every time I read that paragraph, I have to stop reading for a moment so I can laugh.

So I have the footage and everything for the first couple of videos, but being the cotton-headed ninnymuggins that I am, I forgot to check if the video that gets recorded is compatible with my current video editor (hint: it's not). So hopefully today or tomorrow I'll actually be able to present the full splendor of this game, but until then, have a realistic presentation of me trying to fix this:

An observation: Blink Bundle is currently running a deal where you can get Secret of the Magic Crystal and its Tokyo Horse Drift DLC, along with some other, much better games, for $4.99.
