The Yolks on you! Let's Play Fantastic Dizzy!
The same company that made the Game Genie made video games? Well, yes. The Dizzy series stars a walking egg named Dizzy, who somersaults rather than normal jumping, and goes on adventures to save his friends and family, the Yolkfolk, from the evil wizard Zaks. Dizzy gets his namesake because of his somersaults, making him 'dizzy'. You can't make this stuff up. It's worth pointing out that the Genesis cart for this game.... didn't look like other Genesis carts. I think this is just a Codemaster's thing, but I'm sure it irritated the crap out of me as a kid because of OCD. This game actually has other versions, but we're focusing on the nostalgic Genesis game that I played as a kid. Last edited by Red Silvers; 08-28-2020 at 11:34 PM. |

#1: Getting Key'd Off Where Red calls stars hearts, has too many keys, and makes us all listen to a sad song for most of the video. |

YES, MY MAIN MAN DIZZY!
Did you know that the reason Dizzy is an egg is because his creators the Oliver twins wanted to make a cartoony game and with the limitations of the Spectrum computer (which the original Dizzy was made for) the best way to make their character expressive was to make him a MASSIVE FACE |

True story: the various versions of this game are the only Dizzy games we got in the US. Complete with the NES box for "The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy" citing Dizzy as "The UK's #1 Video Game Hero".

Did you get Dizzy the Adventurer? That's a port of Prince of the Yolkfolk for the NES. Also, if you got Quattro Adventure, that has a port of Treasure Island Dizzy on it.

Oh god. I am certain I played one of these dizzy games in one of my BAD GENESIS streams.
I wonder if I still have that video I should highlight that bit. |

Eesh, me and Dizzy have... history. And not good history (Sorry Madhair).
Of course this was the crappy port of Treasure Island Dizzy for the NES, so some day I'll be a fair bloke and give the game a shot emulated on it's native hardware. |

The strongest are Fantasy World and Prince of the Yolkfolk. Fantastic is good, but so large that it's a bit of an ordeal. You need to make a map and write down where the items are. |

There were some suspicious mounds of dirt on that last 'island', above that enclosed water area. Maybe you use the spade up there somewhere?

Man, those butterflies were pretty obnoxious.
Also, the code for a free life is 'CRABBALL'? |
