It's actually easier for me to call out a part of the game where I felt like the demons really did fit with the scenario: the Purgatorium section, where you're battling consecutively more powerful Biblical angels, each of which I felt like accurately presented the type of bizarre horror that angels in the Bible are actually known for.

But then again, the regular encounters in that section also had things like Ganesha and whatever else, so I dunno.
It's implied that enemies like Ganesha are brainwashed into obeying God and the Angels, which is reinforced by the fact that you can't really recruit them in battle. Law in IV are portrayed more as mindless robots who repeat the same thing over and over again, despite Gabriel and Mastema being shown to be able to talk and act normally.

Tbf that's Law in every game but the Devil Survivor ones. Coincidentally I'm sure, those are the only games where I find Law to be remotely tolerable, and even then they still have some intense examples of their ideologies.

Might tie into why I love the Devil Survivor games so much...

Maybe that's actually the female protagonist and we're getting a Megaten entry in the "Sad Lesbians in the Pacific Northwest" genre!

These flew by without notice during the Summer WonFest:

I wonder if, now that they've sated their horney, a proper, fully-articulated Demifiend figma is still an impossible dream. Or, Mem Aleph forbid, a Demonica figma, since I very much doubt Pixie, Bondage Angel, and Demifiend would have much in the way of accessories.

(Angel's sculpt is weird as hell, especially the detached bust. Reminds me too much of the disaster that was Whats-her-face's figma for Rebuild of Evangelion.)

Come onnnnn, PIG Orcus. Look how beautiful he looks in 3D! Perfect for a figure that doesn't cost $500.

Maybe the new character designs are Sega's way of encouraging people to play through the game rattled.

That would be one way to make up for shortcomings in the same-sex area in recent Personas, but a better way would be using an inevitable remake/rerelease.
