The history stuff in Ms Pac Man was nothing short of awesome. Any chance you'll go deeper into that on future episodes?
On Ms. Pac-Man? Probably not. I think I said all I have to say about it. About Tengen? Yes. Working on that now.

They totally are! And every team has unique ones. It's super fun. I highly recommend it.

I was sleeping on this for a while, but I just finished catching up with Ninja Gaiden III, Five Reasons, Ms. Pac-Man, Nekketsu Street Basket, and Tetris. Excellent work, all of it.

The first Halloween video for this year! Roger looks at Holy Diver on the Famicom!

And Mr. Bigman, you'll be happy soon.

Me too! A lot of my On The Stick experience happens while driving, doing chores, playing low key games, etc. I miss you dudes! I suppose I could rip the YouTube editions to an audio format, but that misses something in the translation, of course.

Anyway, I watched quite a bit of the Phantom Pain gameplay a few days ago. Kinda been on an unintentional media blackout on it. My first impression was, "Hey, it's Peace Walker! That's exciting! Oh, with a dog! In an open world! With driveable vehicles! Sweet!" And then Joe mentioned that he'd sunk 60+ hours into it and I thought "Yup, sounds about right." Balloonin' dudes is addictive as all get out.

Shame there's no hold ups with a banana this time around, though.

Happy Halloween and happy 30th, NES!

And, yeah, Ted, Phantom Pain was pretty addictive. New podcast (about that, in fact) coming this week!

What's the spoiler situation for Phantom Pain in the upcoming episode? I'm finally going to pick it up at a store this week after a terrible Amazon incident.

I played Castlevania 3 on the Wii Virtual Console a number of years ago and found it way too hard. Knowing now what would have awaited me if I had gotten further makes me feel better about throwing in the towel early.

These videos are great. Did you ever do a Same Name Different Game about the Batman The Animated Series games?

Yeah, it gets pretty tough, but maybe consider the Japanese version? It's pretty great.

I did the five games based on Burton's Batman, but I haven't done the animated series games... yet. But I can think of a reason I might coming up soon...

Let's get festive. And let's get away from the NES for a minute. Roger looks at Die Hard Trilogy!

Die Hard NES definitely deserves more credit for what it was trying to do. It would be cool to see an indie developer take another crack at the general concept.

Also, anyone who hasn't seen it should definitely look up the AGDQ 2013 segments where runners took turns trying to beat the game in just a few minutes (by intentionally taking foot damage to slow down, which also increases the time that automatically passes when you change floors—so you just run down the time limit until Hans cracks the vault and then rush in and hope you can outgun Karl).

Wow, I had never seen/heard of either of those (I guess that's not surprising for the PC Engine game though).

Someone else recommended the AGDQ runs, so I definitely need to look into that. And I'm glad you agree, Kishi, that NES Die Hard doesn't get its due.

Breakman, that's not that surprising, neither game was a huge hit or anything. I think most people know the NES version because the AVGN did an episode about it.

The first time the show looks at a Game Gear game and the first time I look at a Sega CD game! Enjoy!
