I beat it!
It really did feel like a candy-coloured, less-raunchy Snatcher by the end, but that's cool. It's not as if Kojima didn't borrow from everything under the sun when he made that, so turnabout is fair play.
The characters, world, and writing were all great (though they seemed to be building up to something with Turing's sister that never went anywhere as far as I can tell, so I may have missed something.) The puzzles were mostly fine, but somewhat less than great. A DONUT IS NOT A SCONE NO MATTER HOW LONG IT'S BEEN LYING IN THE STREETS OF CRACK ALLEY! I'M NOT THE CRAZY ONE HERE! I got the bad ending and then the best ending so I am satisfied.
Allowing players to choose their pronouns is such a small thing, but it's something that makes the game feel special, while adding yet more texture to its world. I told Turing that I was an omnivore, so I don't know if there's any particular way in which it comes into play (I certainly never ate or drank anything except Hassy and booze.)
