I think it pretty accurately captures the moment.

I always love it when Allison tosses in throwaway mystery characters, because he kills/maims them in the funniest possible way every time.

I bet you're all grateful now that we got Desmond Fishman instead of the terrible Danny Lizardman, huh?

"I'm a decent guy" says the man who is about to murder a child to summon a demon to get his revenge on a town he doesn't like.

New pocket editions of Bad Machinery! I remember devouring the Garfield comics as a kid in that size (6x9)

What a happier, more clever childhood I would have had if I'd been able to read Bad Machinery instead...

I collected those Garfield books. Had every one, and re-read my entire collection every summer...

I never owned them but I checked every single one of them 30+ odd volumes IIRC as a youngin and read them multiple times.

Why do little kids like Garfield? Why?

Because Garfield gets to talk back to everyone who messes with him, and no one cares (who cares what a cat thinks about you?).

I'd feel sorry for Jack, but considering he won't spit it out I don't.

Sewerman General Johnson truly is the breakout character of the case.

Looks like Mike is in a far more comfortable position.

And seeing Erin return was a no brained.

I work for a public utility that includes a sewer (known in the biz as wastewater) department. While none of the dudes in that department are quite like Sewerman General Johnson, I can confirm most of them are pretty cool.

Jack is a simple, decent boy, but deep within his lizard brain he knew he would not survive association with Mildew.

Thankfully, that Desmond comic was cancelled (if it ever existed at all.

However, it looks like we're going to see the return of Scary Go Round!

Quote:
So from April 10th, there's a completely new version of the one Scary Go Round story I never printed (Oldbourne) called "Come Back".

I've reused about 30% of the plot, and perhaps a dozen lines of dialogue from the original. I needed a place to test a few theories.

After Come Back, all new tales of Scary Go Round will commence. Old characters, new characters, hot formats, confusing pilots.
It's going to be fun to see Shelly and Amy and whoever else on proper adventures again.

He didn't bring back Erin and Boyce for no reason. I bet those two can get into some real trouble. Maybe Tim's barely-relevant-in-2003-indie-rock-reference brother can come back too!
