That's why we must be kind to them and respect them. Because the moment they realize they can eat us all, they'll remember.

All I know is if I were ever to have to do public appearances, I would want to wear a replica of that ant head, similar to the style of yoko taro like Positronic mentioned

Even considering the massive numbers advantage that spiders have, we're a lot better at killing spiders than they are at killing us. A war between us and spiders would not go well for the spiders. If they ran out of other food they'd eat each other before they tried to eat us.

This is what I tell myself.

If I had the option of either killing and eating chickens, or killing and eating bears, I'm gonna go with chicken.

Just this very thread has surprise appearances by Clock Spider, Cereal Spider, and Headphones Spider.

In fact, there's probably a spider inside your keyboard right now.

Do any spiders actually have the mouth parts to eat human flesh?

Myth: Spiders do not literally eat the insects they kill; they only suck the "juices" or blood.

Fact: You can find this myth in many books; even some scientists, who have never bothered to look for themselves, believe it. There is not a particle of truth in this idea! Spiders are not miniature vampires; all species, as far as we know, digest some solid parts of their prey. What makes it especially interesting is that the digestion process begins outside the spider, where anyone who wants to look can see how it works.

Put a medium-sized insect in the web of a large orbweaving spider in the garden. You will see the spider bite the prey, wrap it in silk, wait for it to die, then begin to eat. As a first step in eating, the spider will literally vomit digestive fluid over the prey. Then the prey is chewed with the "jaws" (chelicerae), and the fluid is sucked back into the mouth together with some liquefied "meat" from the prey. The spider repeats this process as often as necessary to digest, and ingest, all but the inedible hard parts. What is discarded afterwards is a small ball of residue.

Spiders other than orbweavers may eat the prey's body but discard some of the wings, legs, etc. Spiders with very small (if strong) jaws (such as crab spiders and cobweb weavers) make small holes in the prey and vomit their digestive fluid into the prey's body, the end result being a hollow shell with some or most of the muscles and internal organs digested and sucked out.
SOUNDS DOABLE

If that bothers you definitely DO NOT click on this:

Its a worm that lives in your eye! For up to 17 years! And you can feel it moving around! It's cool only takes about 15 minutes to move from one end to the other

He didn't make you dummies press play! I remain happily oblivious to whatever horrors that video contains. I'm going to assume it was a video of a corgi frolicking. Maybe the corgi was wearing a fun doggie sweater. Maybe it had a ball!

remember Bambi?

Oh so sweet, so cute. Bambi would never hurt you, right?

Don't kid yourself Jimmy, if a deer ever got the chance he'd eat you and everyone you cared about!

Lots of herbivores will grab a little nutrition from fleshier sources if they need it.

But also, spiders eat breadcrumbs sometimes.

It goes both ways.

Who hasn't whiled away a few peaceful hours in a park on some crisp autumn morning, sitting on a bench, reading a good book, and lovingly tossing some breadcrumbs to the tangled spider-masses, swirling in hungry clusters on the sidewalk?
