I'll be voting for Shadow of the Ninja and Metroid 2.

All right, the first half of the semifinals are over! And the winners are God Hand and Castlevania III, both barely holding off their rivals 5 - 4.

So, it's now time for the second half of the semifinals, where the winners of each respective round square off against one another for a shot at the finals! So we will begin with the showdown between Ys Book I and Zelda: Link's Awakening!

Mightyblue's The Morning Grow from Ys I is well versed in this type of combat, and is prepared to run into Link as often as it takes to win!

Four-so's Ending from Zelda: Link's Awakening is ready to counter Adol's assault and utilize his bag of tools and tricks to seize away victory!

But we're not done! The second half is a doubleheader much like the first, so Guild Wars 2 and Chrono Trigger will also be vying for the finals!

Erilex's Fear Not this Night from Guild Wars 2 has hopefully chatted up a strong support for their attack, as they are going to need all the help they can muster for this contest!

SpoonyBardOL's To Far Away Times from Chrono Trigger has traveled eons in preparation for this fight, and have plenty of Tri techs at hand to wear down their foe!

Four enter, but only two can enter the hallowed squared circle of the Finals. Your votes are due by 4 PM Tuesday.

Fuck me my browser just killed my post. Fine! Short and sweet then.

My votes - Ys and Chrono Trigger.

Winners - Ys 7 - 6 and Chrono Trigger 10 - 3.

Today's first round:
RT-55J Stand Up Against Myself Thunder Force IV

Lukyn Ending Super Mario World

Match 2:
Lukyn Ending Final Fantasy VI

Four-so Smiles and Tears EarthBound

Votes due tomorrow, Wednesday at 4 PM.

When I cool off (both mentally and physically) I may spice up the post but I just lost a lot of work so I'm not happy

Oh geez

Nnnngg

Mmmmm

Errrrr

Ummmmmm

As much as I love Final Fantasy VI, more than Earthbound really, when you just compare those two tracks I just love Earthbound's more. It's just kinda... sweet.

Red Caps.

I love pretty much everything about FF6, and it's hard to beat that ending track, but the Earthbound track has an air of sentimentality and delightful melancholy that I can't get passed.

Super Mario World comes from a parallel place, less sentimental but more whimsy.

So I'm going with
