The Shovel Knight speedrun was much more competitive than the NFL playoff game that was running at the same time.

The thought of becoming good enough at aiming to do that MGS2 European Extreme speedrun terrifies me.

Were there any rules? European Extreme is a difficulty level with extremely aware enemies and harder objectives.

Oh, I didn't know it was something baked into the game. The name sounded ridiculous enough to be some obscure speedrunning category. Thanks.

It's a 100% run so it's absolutely vital you save every frame you fucking can.

Shovel Knight and Mega Man both had really fun-to-watch races I think.

Zelda OoT 3D is completely broken in a different way than 64 and was pretty cool.

Silent Hill games aren't super great for speedrunning, but the SH4 runner and the couch were really into it and had a lot of energy going in (for the 2am Hell Slot,) so I wish I could have stayed up to watch the whole thing.
