Default Images of people standing on the business edge of slashing or stabbing melee weapons.

I hope your shoes confer a bonus or your aura's so bad-ass your feet don't touch the ground when you walk, because now you have to walk a line so fine it's been folded 1000 times by a forgotten master blacksmith.

ITT: Standing, walking, sitting, travelling on swords and sword-like surfaces.

My submission is of course the logical result of such a meme: Tarantino's take.

This is more of a blade walk, which is the upgraded move refined decades earlier in power-up animes.

Maybe it doesn't count when the sword is a 100-foot granite pillar, but...

(It is weirdly difficult to find images of the actual trope on google images. Doesn't help that a "sword stand" is something completely different that a lot of people are selling.)

Standing on a sword is one thing, standing on a light saber is quite another

Sword-walking died off at carnivals because it's real stupid.

On the other hand, a flying sword is your mount in this popular MMO.

I just know there's something that is in-between those two, though.

By a technicality of language, this is an acceptable submission.

But they only lived as siblings, they were really cousins!

This is either double the anime incest or half of it. I'm not sure.

I have literally never seen an episode of Tenchi Muyo but every single thing I hear about it makes me think "How is anime not a crime?"

I liked it well enough when I was a teen, but on reflection, that's because I was a teen and a sizable chunk of the cast spent a certain percentage of each episode disrobed. And then it became Bad Star Wars all of a sudden.

Even as a distracted teen, I thought it was weird about how Tenchi was supposed to marry his aunt.

Tenchi Muyo's one saving grace was that its entire cast had something resembling personalities, and half points for having an actual plot. Granted, it and Love Hina basically ushered in the never ending parade of harem shows and the like.

Tenchi was the last harem protag that still had a life of his own instead of being a blank template for the viewer to paste himself onto.
