This tweet has a compilation of madness form the final episode, for people like me who don't want to watch the show but thing it's hilarious in compilation format.

For the discerning anime fan who wishes that a tiny man were extending from their crotch in the boudoir.

Like if that guy from Total Recall were a peener.

Or an extremely uncomfortable version of Midori Days.

In the other thread, I asked everyone not to watch Hand Shakers. But I secretly really want someone to watch it, just to confirm that it is as bad as I thought it was. Like, it will actually give some of y'all motion sickness.

I'll probably watch it later in the day. I like hands imagery, and, i don't know, i'm curious.

I think it's really mean of GoHands to make an anime making fun of people with Parkinson

Re: Handshakers. My opinion:

Soundtrack is pleasant at times, but it is repetitive and badly used (maybe Persona inspired?). Nice moment of 3D cinematography while they're talking in class, though without purpose. Sexy scenes/gainax boobies/people screaming in pain like they're climaxing/uncomfortable material. Dialogues are hilariously bad, story seems like a parody. Terrible transitions between scenes. One of the dudes copies the body language from the protagonist from Steins;Gate (i think). Bad Rei Ayanami clone. Protagonists needs to narrate everything, because the visuals don't convey the story. There's worldbuilding with terms like Ziguratt, Nimrod.

Overall worst anime of all time. THE REVELATION OF BABEL!

Hahaha. It has been a while since i saw a really bad anime, so it was interesting. Yeah, forgot to say this show looks awful. I'll be really surprised if there's people that like it - even people who like skeevy anime. This is no Keijo!!

And sadly for an anime called Hand Shakers there isn't a nice moment with hands in it!
(Nice stuff with hands in anime reminds me of the Kaiba OP and Evangelion and stuff.)

EDIT:

Really, this gives me goosebumps.

That.. yeah.. that..... yeah.

It's kinda sad that I had to do a double-take at the last frame to make sure it wasn't a photoshop, because the quality of the anime for the past, what, eight years has been abysmal.

(I mean this trend has been happening in the manga too, don't get me wrong, but the anime's inability to handle proportions, especially when doing scenes without a manga panel to trace over, is ri-goddamn-diculous)

Nup! The last picture is a joke, though - OP doesn't have 900 episodes yet.

Didn't Oda claim to have based her design on his wife?

OneRoom is the creepiest fucking thing I've ever watched. I fear for the race. It was only 4 minutes long, which was fortunately not enough time to tear my eyes out screaming. If that show has a protagonist, it is "the male gaze". It's just a completely silent camera viewing leering at a schoolgirl as she meekly and occasionally speaks and makes noises, with lots of slow pans and the quiet sound of fabric. Jesus. It's like a fucking anime ASMR version of that creepy PS VR tutoring game.

Someone described it to me as a show with an intriguing premise without describing it any further, and that person is now dead to me. Link to the first episode provided reluctantly for context, but I can't advise enough against clicking it.

That's backwards, as I understand it. He met his wife when she was cosplaying as Nami, I think.

I have no idea what the gradual altering of Nami's physique means in the context of their relationship though....

Huh. I wasn't able to get past the first couple episodes of the OP anime because it was a sketchy slideshow that in no way added to the story that I'd already gotten from reading the manga. And that was the better part of it?

Yeah, that's pretty much all there is to this show. Except it's non-interactive, so someone had to carefully design all those male-gaze shots. The actual contents of the show itself isn't nearly as bad as some of these fetish-fuel ecchi-sketchy shows like battle harems where characters get casually violated and have their clothes torn off. But making the POV first person and having the girl talk to herself the entire time is just intensely unsettling, since the show drags you directly into its gross scenario and makes you an accomplice whether you want to or not. I watched the first episode completely blind, and it was a very bad surprise to find.

when you put it like that asmr sounds like the name of something stupid from an anime which well fair enough really
