I liked the Double Down. Not as a regular thing, but it was neat to try.

I think I preferred grilled, which sucks for me because KFC doesn't do grilled chicken in Canada.

The barbecue sandwich at Bojangles is the most surprising fast food item I've had in a while. It's a legitimately good eastern NC style barbecue sandwich. It even has a smoke taste to it. Not sure how they do that-liquid smoke? The smoke flavor seems much too mild to be liquid smoke. If you have a Bojangles near you and they have this, definitely go try it.

Kind of curious if they have this west of Raleigh/Chapel Hill and if so, if it's Lexington style or if they are risking life and limb by serving eastern-style barbecue in Lexington-style territory.

Ah, Bojangles. They had one in Bentonville, AR when I lived there. Blueberry biscuits are delicious.

McDonald's has introduced a Grand Mac. Is it me, or is this just a Big Mac returned to it's original 70s-80s size?

Couldn't tell you; I don't think I ever ate a Big Mac until the 90s.

And lo did JBear's demeanour slowly transform from amusement to horror with the slowly dawning realization that there is a 100% chance that fanart exists of Wendy and Ronald McDonald... doing what tastes right.

More distracted by the fact the Mickey D's Twitter expressed adoration for a fourteen-year-old.

So, not sure if there's a better place for this, but anyone else go see The Founder?

Nadia and I checked it out Sunday night, and quite enjoyed it.

Had a small medical procedure today (and valium, whee!) which knocked me out for most of the day. Woke up absolutely starving and decided to say screw it and get Panda Express. Looked up the menu and discovered that the California locations now have Orange Chicken Burritos.

I'm in Oregon so I can't try it, but I kind of wish it was up here.

Habit Burger has the driest burgers I've ever eaten, and considering I've eaten my own cooking that's saying something. Probably not going there again without another free food coupon.

Fries were A-OK, though.

Is this the first time anime has helped me make a healthy life decision? Because it's convinced me never to visit Wendy's again.
