Ya know, just in case you're curious.

I've got a policy of not just posting in this thread every damn time I spit something out, but I actually like how the article on Hologram Time Traveler of all things turned out. It's oddly personal, but if you're looking for completely bonkers, please stop back again Friday.

Speaking of bonkers, the Xenosaga LP you can find in the LP forum is being posted with something like a four week delay on Saturdays now. These forums are the place to be for actually new updates, but it's being archived on the site basically for ease of use and my own sanity (as covered in the FAQ).

G-Bobs, can I call you G-Bobs (I hope so, I've already done so twice and I like the sound of it), if I may be candid, your use of gifs, classy though they are, make reading your site a bit of a trial, sometimes. Point in fact, they usually slow things down so much that having more then a single article open freezes my browser solid. Especially with the more elaborate ones.

That being said; every single image you've brought us for this game is flipping magical.

I feel like I've been living a cheapened existence for having not seen them before now.

That one dude is wearing a Rush shirt!

Anyway, Ocarina of Time turned out less bonkers and more depressing. Won't someone please think of the children!?

Wow, that Ocarina article was amazing. I really liked the perspective you took, Googlebob. Excellent read!

I really appreciate the (positive) feedback on the OoT article. It's always weird to write something from a completely skewed perspective on something that is so beloved, because you never know if it's going to turn out actually interesting or offensive. Or both. Particularly given the entire article grew out of, basically, a dirty joke between friends at college.

And in that vein, I decided to be like all the cool kids on the internet and write about Star Wars. I'd post this in a Star Wars thread, but I'm afraid Bongo Bill will yell at me.

I assume all my fans migrated to the Xenosaga thread, but I still want an explanation for what's happening here!

Clearly your ps2 is possessed by a rather lazy and ineffectual demon. Square games seemed to do a better job of waking him up.

By Adrian "Alucard" F. Tepes, age 12

In other news, is there a distinct spot on the forums for "hiring" an artist? I have an idea for a one time piece for an article, but I have no artistic talent. If anyone is just reading this and interested, shoot me a PM.

I'd click around the creating subforum (the one your thread is in)and look at some of the art being highlighted by tyrants there and then send them a PM.

Blame the robot. I've recently been "rolling" ROB way in advance, to the point that I have my "to do" list up through #97. By complete chance, the coming streak of games is pretty great, including Dynamite Cop and its follow-up, which I can only describe as "oddly appropriate".

I don't know, Rampart, then Dynamite Cop and then Saints Row 3?

Seems to me like you're deliberately trying to curry Octo Favor

In theory I could have mentioned this in the actual article, but the Time Crest also has a Fire-Based attack that's stronger than just about any other thing that be horked out of Firebrands cake hole.

In theory.

Now, see, I don't know if that makes the Time Crest "better", or the Fire Crest (it's supposed to do one thing!) worse. What's important is that crests are weird.

I spent entirely too long staring at that gif, trying to figure out where it looped.

You've ruined me, Gobblecob.
