Way back in the 90's, I remember there being a Doritos Taco Bell flavour (Taco Supreme) that I remember really liking, but it got taken off the market right quite.

Oh, it just occurred to me, in light of a new Ghostbusters movie, will we see the return of Ecto Cooler? Seems like a cause worth fighting for.

Oh, and Cuban Lunch, a candy bar that my Dad absolutely love and is apparently a highly requested candy bar.

And finally, according to this CBC article, Bonkers are coming back in the near future.

Black Pepper Jack Doritos and the old S'mores Crunch cereal are the two I'd like to see the most. Preferably not mixed together, but I'll takes what I can get.

I don't know if I heard about the latter, but considering my love of disgustingly sugary cereals, I think I would love it.

This feels a slight tone change away from being one of the Twin Peaks' deleted scenes.

It was essentially Golden Grahams with marshmallow and chocolate. A SLAM DUNK.

Yup. I also don't think it got super soggy like golden grahams do, but it is very possible I just immediately inhaled every bowl set in front of me far too quickly for the milk to do any damage.

Okay, I think it's safe to say this one is gone.

RIP Trader Joe's South African Chips. So smoky and savory...

They did bring back the Octo Cooler for a second or two.

It probably tasted like refried ass but I love for some Nintendo Cereal System.

And Fruity Yummy Mummy.

And Kaboom.

And Pop-Tarts Crunch.

Why are all of these cereals? Oh, here's a non-cereal they should bring back (to the U.S.) with all quickness.

I haven't seen a box of Rice Krispies Treats cereal in over a decade but apparently it still exists?

I am a slut for marshmallow.

Yeah, I see that one all the time. Seems like I see more shelf space for old-school Frosted Krispies, though.

Not to my knowledge, but even if it did, my hometown doesn't have those cool candy shops that deal in vintage re-release candy.

That Viennetta is still a thing in a few countries! You can get it in Australia and Japan. New Zealand too, if you have an urge to eat decadent ice cream treats while admiring picturesque landscapes.

There's a shop in my town that has a lot of the retro candy, but so far I haven't seen any Bonkers. This shop seems to be the only place that I can get LifeSavers now, which is weird. At some point they disappeared from the grocery store checkout lanes.

Those sound fantastic, why are you only telling me about them now that they belong in this thread. :P
(Cue someone pointing out they were in the chips thread years ago or something, yeah I dunno I have no memory.)

I'm pretty sure I mentioned them in the chips thread. For what it's worth, Trader Joe's still sells the spice they used, so enterprising types can make their own.

Oh, hey, I don't think I knew that this thread existed.

I will never pass up a chance to eulogize Nutchos.

God I miss Nutchos. They're nut chocolates that are the most delicious thing ever created, and they haven't been available for at least a decade. Nestle introduced a new chocolate with the same branding ~8 years ago, but they are garbage chocolates for garbage people, so I'm only talking about the original (pictured above). I'm going to die regretting that I never got to taste these again. :-(

There is a place that coincidentally shares my name and writes constantly about stuff like this.

I figured Falselogic (or maybe Octo) would have been more disappointed about that.

Finally, the great taste of nut and nachos... in no way combined. This is a confusing product name.

I'm flattered that you confused me for the great and powerful Dinosaur Dracula, but Matt has been posting nostalgic stuff on the Internet since the invention of nostalgic Internet stuff.

I'm just the regular Dracula.
