I guess that Fudd is inexorably tied to his rifle and Batman isn't too fond of guns?

Batman fights alien monster has more legs than Batman encounters a hunter with a speech impediment.

To be fair; I don't think Fudd has ever successfully shot anyone.

He should be the only person Batman doesn't have a problem holding a gun.

Are we sure it's a team-up? Elmer Fudd would be right at home in Batman's rogue gallery.

Particularly if that Batman is Batman '66.

He's shot Daffy Duck in the face numerous times. Causing his beak to fly off and pin to the tree behind him. You know this.

I don't think missing was actually possible in those cases

The man carries a shotgun that can apparently be jammed by a rabbit sticking its paws in the barrel, give him the credit when he actually manages to do anything with it.

(What would've been a better matchup for Elmer? I'm thinking Huntress or Hawkman, but I understand the desire / requirement to have Batman involved with this.)

To be fair, sometimes his beak just gets spun around his head until it's facing backwards.

You guys are missing the forest for the trees.

Batman is teaming up with Elmer because Joker teamed up with Bugs.

"Maybe now you'll keep quiet... vewy, vewy quiet!"

(Wein's dialogue for Chill sounds really Elmer-like. Hmmmm....)

Huh... last time, it was Batduck and Super Bugs, I believe.

Yes, there was a last time.

I could totally see Elmer Fudd re-imagined as an escaped Arkham Asylum inmate who sees all his victims as wascally wabbits.

I think Wile E. Coyote should reconsider his crossover, considering what happened to him last time he ended up in the DC Universe.

This is a very good cover, as far as cross-franchise marketing opportunities go:

My only suggested improvement would be to make it clear that Lobo's gone through a couple cases of ACME beer. But I understand if the artist (Jock?) didn't want to stencil all those logos in.

I'm just glad real Lobo is back, rather than that pointless pretty boy version that never had even the slightest chance of sticking around.

Not unless someone wanted to re-start Young Justice, at any rate.

(Gods, David always gets weird at the tail end of his books.)

Did you not ever read the Hitman/Lobo one-shot? It's worth reading.
