Okay how do you listen to MBMBAM though?

How I do it: learn about it from this thread, listen to the sample clips, love it, download the most recent couple eps, love them, download every ep from #300 to Today (where Today was 6 months ago), get through them, now (as of yesterday) I'm caught up to when I started 6 months ago, so I start listening in chronological order from 6 months ago to today, which I'll probably finish in another 2 months, at which point I haven't figured out the plan yet, maybe pick a few specific episodes from the previous 299 eps, maybe try to start over from #1 then lose steam after a dozen, Augh this is too much pressure

Compared to that insane chaos, simply roleplaying Merlin and proceeding backwards doesn't sound so bad.

I started at #1 a year ago and worked my way forward. Ain't no running joke I didn't hear in the correct order!

I compromised slightly by starting with their move to Maximum Fun (#38) and downloading/listening to the entire archive from there, since I often heard people (including the McElroys!) say that their earliest episodes had some problematic stuff.

My cut-off point is going to be #50 for much that same reason. I'm still in the mid 200s, so this will take a while.

I wasn't sure about Peacecraft at first but I was wrong to doubt.

I had to tell my friend that it gets better for him to watch past the first episode. The interactive stuff helps it a ton.

I'm halfway through (the released) Suffering Game and I see what you mean about Griffin pulling out the stops and going from Best Friend DM to Kill Everyone DM.

If I wasn't so sure he was building up to something, I'd say he's super-testy from New Baby Stress.

That being said, the Corporate Team-Building Exercise Team Building episode is a perfect antidote to that and beautiful and perfect.

I just finished Murder on Rockport Lmt and it was super super super good. You would never know from the first four episodes or so.

I listened to the newest TAZ, and the most recent MBMBAM, and watched the entire MBMBAM show today. Is that too much McElroy? Not really, it was all very good.

My gosh do these brothers put out a lot of content.

I want to give a shout out to one of the McElroy brothers' less-celebrated contributions.

I've been playing nothing but Bloodborne for the past month or so, and Griffin made a series of sick boss strat videos for Polygon, which have helped me on a few occasions. They're not at all funny, but still very much appreciated.

These bros can do no wrong, I guess is what I'm saying.

That being said, I hope this is popular enough that I can pirate the shit out of it. I would gladly pay money to get this content, and it upsets me that the entire rest of the world can't for some reason, but I'm not going to let Seeso's burning desire to leave money sitting on the table stop me from seeing it altogether.

Murder on the Rockport is one of my favourite arcs. The shows at its best when it focuses on character work rather than combat or dungeon-crawling.

Plus it gave us Angus!

SUSAN CRUSHBONE

(the ending to this video is some serious end of evangelion level apocalyptic biohorror madness)

edit:

—Griffin you know, like, Microsoft owns Minecraft right, like...?
—Oh, do they?
—If Bill Gates sees this...
—Actually, right now it kind of looks like Susan Crushbone owns it.

I have never played Skyrim, and this series has not changed the fact that I know nothing about and have no opinions about Skyrim.

Well, that's it. I'm totally caught up on Adventure Zone. Now I have to wait two weeks. This is the true Suffering Game.

That being said, the most recent episode was probably my favorite one of this arc for so many reasons.

I laughed harder at the killall than I have at anything in years. I've watched those like 10 seconds on repeat dozens of times since then, and I'm still laughing, like, falling out of my chair laughing.

The other thing that gets me every time is the smooooooth moonwalk into kissin' position.

Also Mr. Craft poking his head in frame all HEY HI CAN IT BE MY TURN NOW? Yes. Yes it can.

There's something Good and Right about producing a Candlenights episode in September, and releasing it in March.

Makes me feel that everything is proceeding as it should be in the world.

Sometimes I get the feeling that the people making Coolgames Inc highlight animatics wish that Griffin and Nick would kiss.

I'm not nearly as in love with Peacecraft as I was with Griffin's Nuzlocke run, and yet the wait every Wednesday afternoon for the new episode to be uploaded is still the longest few hours of my week.
