The keyboard starting at 1:36 is exquisite and one of my favorite things from the Pixies catalog.



Also, 1:21 in Surf Wax America begins some of the best unapologetic surf-rock I've ever heard. (Also, I enjoy the narrative shift to "actually, surf bro, we're all fucked".)

The final part of the 1812 Overture is perhaps the most famous, but for me, there's just something about that interlude after the first "salvo", when the great bells start ringing, that I find so majestic and sublime.
