Anyone else bothered?
I cannot stomache playing this game simply because all characters are left handed. I dont care what reason they gave (something about character visibility, although that sounds like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t to me because they could just mirror the character stance and problem solved.)

Maybe that's a silly reason not to play a game but this is a personaly flavor thing, I am not left handed therefor I will not play a lefty, I like my character to reflect myself. It seems unreasonable that they could not enable both hands as options by mirroring the character and based off of that I am now assuming there are many other shortcomings in the game (the reviews sort of reinforce that feeling too).

And I'd never say anything to disparage the left-handed people of the world.

Even if I don't subscribe to their world-views and think that many are secretly either anarchists or escaped carnival attractions.

Come on guys, he said many, not all.

I'm sure if you drew out the Venn diagrams the intersecting bit in the middle would have a pretty high number of people in it.

If it's satire, it reads like a pissy takedown of people who want better representation in video games. So, kind of a losing bet either way.

I figured it was a satire of the people who complain about playing as minority characters.

It was a serious complaint.

I answered it with "Be happy you are not a lefty, you couldn't play many games otherwise."

They could play pretty much all the Mario and Zelda games. Depending on how picky they are they could also play most Mega Man games and Street Fighter 2.

Sonic the Hedgehog tends to favour his left hand as well.

In any case, there's surprisingly more lefties as game protagonists than you'd expect.

Kill off the other characters and play as Kain.

Default I may be the only one here who finds this funny

Quote:
My old chaplain HATES when people say Aquinas was super heavy. He's convinced it's some kind of anti-Catholic rumor that stuck.
Quote:
Deep in the Protestant Headquarters, the Head Protestant sits on a plastic stool, wearing ugly polyester vestments. Cringing Lackey approaches.

Cringing Lackey: Your Reformedness, I have bad news. The Catholics are growing ever stronger. How will we ever convince people to stop doing good works, as is the cornerstone of our belief system.
Head Protestant: Don't worry, I have a plan that will strike a the heart of the Papists. I'll tell people that the famous Roman Catholic Thomas Aquinas, who as everyone knows we Protestants hate and fear for his orthodox theology, was all fat and gross.
CL: But Your Supreme Anti-Liturgicalness, it is well known that Aquinas was super buff and swole.
HP: It is true that he was super buff and swole, and also ripped, but we'll tell people he was a fat nerd. Because, and I really can't stress this enough, all Protestants hate Aquinas for some reason.
CL: Brilliant your Iconoclasticness. I'll put the plan into action right away.
HP: Good. Now leave me. I must put a condom on my penis before I have sex with my wife.

No, I think that's a baker who can only draw stick figures doing their best with what they've got and/or wanting to get it over with as soon as possible.
