Chicken Parmesan never struck me as needing a bun around it, but I won't yuck another person's yum.

Had a Hangover Burger at Richtree Natural Markets after the Switch event last week.

Beef patty, Swiss cheese, mushrooms, lettuce, tomato... and a fried egg.

It was good, but too messy after the yolk broke for me to want to bother with again any time soon.

I wonder if someday sociologists and historians of the future will see charts like that and read them as primarily about sandwiches. Because that amuses me greatly, in much the same way I get a chuckle out of that "THE CURTAINS WERE BLUE" meme.

Anyway I'm a little surprised that layered nachos don't show up on the list. If a pulled-pork sandwich is traditional, what does that mean of the tamale? True neutral? And yet tamales may be the oldest existing type of food designed to serve the purpose of the sandwich, which is be eatable with only one hand and no utensils.

"You were supposed to bring balance to the Ingredients, not leave them in darkness!"

How tragic. Anakin has turned to the Dark Rye Side.

Best of both worlds: get a taco, slather one side of the shell with something -- I want to say "refried beans" but for this disaster it might as well be peanut butter -- mash another taco onto that, and eat up.

This is the "Taco Bell" style of culinary design.

There's a large difference between structure neutral and rebel in that chart, however

You mean watery tomato sauce mixed with tiny amounts of spices?

when you get down to it Manwich is really just a highly inferior expression of Cincinnati-style chili.

Iowa style Maid Rite cuts out the spices and sauce, leading to the question of what in the hell is going on with food in Iowa

I have only ever had Maid Rite in Iowa so that might explain why I really didn't like it.
