The color scheme of that image makes me think of a Persona 4 where all of the characters are re-colors of Koromaru from P3.

I guess a couple of these corgi hybrids are somewhat cute, but little dogs annoy me. They fail as dogs. What the hell is the point of little dogs like that?
(oh yeah, barking)

Well yeah, most little dogs are useless. Pomeranians are the most burningly spiteful, which is what makes them the devil's dogs.

But CORGIS

They were specifically bred to be stumpy-legged enough to dodge cow kicks on reflex. They're stout enough of body and heart to move the most stubborn bulls, their fighting bark is more fearsome than a dog's ten times their size, and they're so ridiculously attached to their human beings that they bark up a storm when you go to the restroom for five seconds.

In other words, they're the best of all possible dogs.

Yep corgis aren't small dogs. They're just short.

Hmmm. An interesting case has been made. I've never encountered one in real life though so to me they just look like little dogs with goofy legs. I think what I really like though are just average sized mutts.

They are not short, they are Condensed. They are a Vast and Terrible Beast compressed into an itty-bitty package.

A bit late to the party, but corgis don't all have high pitched barks (or bark all that much); Cardigan Welsh Corgis (they come in more colors and have tails) have a moderately different body shape (larger by several pounds, bigger boned, deeper breasted, larger ears, and so forth -- though it's easy to miss these if you don't know what you're looking for) and a very different disposition (much less yippy/nippy, and generally calmer). The physical differences mean they have a deeper bark (and can even get out a good bay). They're also a lot less common than Pembroke Welsh Corgis, which are what most people think of when they think of corgi.

I am, of course, the totally unbiased owner of a cardi . As supporting evidence, though, she gets called "best dog ever" and variants on a regular basis by strangers after meeting her for the first time while being walked around the neighborhood.

Clearly, we require many pictures of her in order to hone our Cardigan Welsh Corgi identification skills. Stat!
