Default The Official OnTheStick Video Thread

So, I didn't really think of putting this here, until Warg mentioned it might be a good idea. All of my videos will go in this thread from now on. If you're not familiar... c'mon, I'm an old school TTer, get my back on this. I'm doing three shows. The latest in each follows.

Five Reasons is the newest show, and this is the first episode. It's about the GBA.

Obscure Old Games is the second show and it's about... well, the title kind of explains it. The most recent episode is about the Saturn's US launch and Sexy Parodius.

My main jam is Same Name, Different Game which is a show about ports and versions of games. The most recent one is about Captain America and the Avengers. If this interests you and you're going to TooManyGames in Philly later this month, I'm on a panel Friday at 2:45pm talking about game versions. So that's a thing.

Did I have an old one? I jumped into a thread someone else made about ports and stuff, but I don't think I ever had one of my own. If I did, then sure.

Maybe I just thought that old thread where you used to post sane maybe different game was yours?

Oh, yeah, that thread was someone else's. I just kind of co-opted it.

Great video. I really love SMB2J, but the one with the turnips is certainly the more accessible of the two.

I went to TooManyGames this weekend, and will be posting some videos. This one is of myself and Eric from Game vs. Game opening a grab bag from some vendor at the show (as it turns out, SilentSnake got a much better bag than I did).

That SMB2 video was great. You managed to take a topic almost everyone is familiar with and make it interesting! Good use of archival footage and editing.

Oh, hey. A pickups video. I usually hate these, to be honest, but I got so much stuff at TooManyGames that I figured I may as well do one for that.

Hey, I forgot to post this here. I got a couple of Nintendo Power carts for Super Famicom from Stone Age Gamer while I was at TooManyGames. Check out the video to find out what was on them!

Who likes games that are Obscure and Old? And puppets? Well, then, have I got a video for you! Roger talks Vice: Project Doom on the NES.

Near the end of the video you can see your head in the frame...

Regardless, I loved this video

Yeah, I tried to edit around that. The viewfinder on my camera has a ton of HUD stuff going on, so I miss that sometimes.

Don't worry. The kids at home will never notice.

Having never played either, I tend to confuse Vice: Project Doom with Code Name: Viper. You've definitely made a good case for Vice, though. I might finally check it out now.

New episode! Looking at the changes that made Ninja Gaiden III so much harder in the US than on the Famicom!

And, yeah, Kishi, Vice is definitely worth checking out. Glad me and the puppet were able to make the case!

Got a new one on Ms. Pac-Man!

And, yes, "be garbage of cesspool" is such a great line.

Just wanted to say I've been watching and enjoying these!

The history stuff in Ms Pac Man was nothing short of awesome. Any chance you'll go deeper into that on future episodes?
