Knight is strong all game. Absurdly strong after Moore with firebrand + flame sheild to heal. Two-Handing a brave blade gets stuff done in the endgame.

Red Mage is dead weight in world 3 without another casting class, for the most part. Breaking Rods is their besy option at that point (all game, really).

I'd take a geomancer over a berserker, but only because they can throw elixirs during the final battle (and I'd take a berserker before a second geo). Maybe not in the GBA version without the dummy targets...

Walse Tower is sunk, Syldra is dead again, and I can finally be a Time Mage.

And my Water job is Dancer. Womp womp. So I guess that means I need to keep at least one Freelancer in the party? Or can they all be Time Mages?

The run wasn't that bad up to here. I ran into some trouble in the Ship Graveyard when I realized I forgot to buy potions and made it to the save point/recovery area with only 1 left, then when I was fighting Siren she killed all but the one character I gave the Flail to (whom she slowed right at the start of the fight, of course).

Then Magissa and Forza killed me on the first attempt, so I said 'screw it' and broke a Frost Rod in her face.

Then Garula killed me on its first attempt, but I got some lucky whip-paralysis in the second.

At least coming up I'll be able to stock up on Rods. Not super thrilled about having to deal with Dancer again though...

Oh and I named him Bortz this time around.

The twitter bot itself can occasionally be unreliable, but the website seems to be very quick.

Yeah, I never got tweeted my wind or water jobs yesterday. Gilgabot's apparently slowed down by Twitter limitations. But as soon as you tweet for the job, you can look yourself up on the player list on the Fiesta website to see what your new job is.

My first two jobs are Monk and Berserker. Here's to hoping I get another job before fighting Byblos.

Step 1: find the flail
Step 2: Get to Garula

You know what? I'd much rather not play through this with two berserkers. Gonna donate the money and change one of them to a Blue mage, because I've never been able to use one during these things!

Knight, Red Mage, Ranger now. I don't have much experience with Ranger, but my understanding is that !Rapid = win, so my Knight will certainly be picking that up.

I got two monks in a FF1 run once. They crater hard around the start of world 2 and never catch back up at the levels I finish the game at.

My final lineup is Samurai/Summoner/Geomancer/Black Mage. I'm about halfway through the second world and can't picture much trouble the rest of the way.

I know it's silly to complain with a group like that, but I have to say, I am pretty sick of Geomancer. It's not because it's weak, but because I roll it every single time. I mean that literally: I have been given Geomancer on all five of my fiesta runs where it was an eligible job. There are a half dozen jobs I haven't gotten even once that I'd love to try instead. I think if my next run gives me another, I'm going to be job fairing it.

OK, so I coughed up the money and got a Blue mage in lieu of a 2nd berserker. Byblos wasn't too bad, had to chug some elixirs so I could keep pumping out Aqua Breath but all in all a pretty painless fight.

What blue magic do I need to run and grab? I got lvl 5 death, aero/aera, aqua breath, and ???. I plan on grabbing flamethrower/missle/white wind from the floating fortress, and there's dark spark somewhere out there too. What are the essentials I'm missing and how do I get them?

Goblin punch is nice, and all the level-based spells are good. For example, level 3 flare will equally destroy the statues that guard the world 3 areas, and world 2 Exdeath is vulnerable to level 2 old. Mighty Guard, of course.

My first job on the chaos/5th job run I'm gonna be co-oping is ninja!

I job faired out a pair of chemists two years ago because I always get chemist and even not using !mix it was still broken.

I think I can probably make Shinryu work but i'm a bit more concerned about if I can manage Omega, any advice on that eventuality is appreciated.

So just to be 100% clear, this means I'm stuck with four Berserkers til after all four crystals, right? No freelancers or anything?
