Saw that yesterday. I really like it. Great little one-off story.

I feel sorta bad that I assumed that Blackwatch was the supervillain and Captain Power the superhero. Guess that was the point, though.

Well, it's more than a little misleading since Blackwatch said he was attacked by another superhero for some reason (the one he killed). Not that that makes it any less rad-- there's a ton of reasons for something like that to happen.

Not to ruin the party, but I should probably point out that that rather cool comic was in fact posted to the wrong thread. Unless I'm missing something here!

Yeah, that really didn't make any sense to me, and I nearly commented on it, but it's a cool enough comic that I'll relax and go with it.

The rule of two super heroes meeting is that they always start by fighting each other before realizing that they are both good guys and teaming up to fight some other, greater threat.

Why did Thor's first appearance in The Avengers involve a fight between him, Cap, and Iron Man? I know that shit happens all the time, and I'm not even into superhero comics. Talking out differences like rational beings is for people who can't be safely hurled through walls.

Also, the first Avengers comic was about the team being assembled to beat the crap out of the Hulk, who was just minding his own business, except Thor, who opted to beat up Loki instead, then they decided to be a superhero team. The second issue is based around Hulk realizing that his joining a team based around beating him up was a stupid idea, so he leaves.

This is kind of unimportant to the discussion, but its a story I love to bring up.

Haha, Randy is an acquaintance/customer of mine. I've seen his newspaper ones in person and they're fantastic.
