I can't stop listening to Wallspin on Mouth Moods.

So good. Maybe the catchiest track of all the Mouth albums?

Mouth Silence is still my favorite. Mullet with Butterfly Wings is a marked improvement over its constituent parts

Mullet with Butterfly Wings might be my favorite title for any of the tracks. Mouth Silence is probably my favorite of the albums but I am fucking loving Moods.

Completely serious -- "Piss" is the best song released in all of 2014

Also the Kate Bush/Katy Perry mashup is better than any actual Kate Bush song, which is the opinion that got me banned from the British Isles for life

Brian Johnson's isolated vocal track is thing of beauty.

"Bustin" is cousin to "No Credit Card" in that it's a clever idea, and has a good hook, but quickly turns into an ear-grinding gauntlet for me.

EDIT: Wallspin's probably my favorite track off the album right now (though T.I.M.E. is strangely effecting). Someone on Youtube pointed out that it sounds like a New Order song, and a lot of stuff snapped into place.

How can you not love Bustin!? It's beyond fantastic

I do have higher tolerance for bullshit and repetition than most though

Very happy teg turned me on to these. Mouth Sounds works the best as a complete work, though the other albums have better individual songs. "Floor Corn" is definitely the stand-out of Moods, but my favorite has to be the one that changes "Eye of the Tiger" to be about a literal tiger.

neil cicierega is an oddball genius who i am very glad exists, he and his mashups that i never knew i needed so badly in my life make the world bearable

a lot of it is all so weird and stupid but somehow almost all of it manages to work beautifully, the guy's got a real sharp ear for music and sound and a knack for finding some wild audio clips and pairings, stuff like crocodile chop and floor corn shouldn't be so good but here we are

wallspin is a mashup of one of my absolute favorite songs with one of my least favorite songs, it does things to my brain

also shoutout to dear dinosaur for being such a surprisingly good mashing of vocals and music, that one's a real standout

I don't know why The End hasn't gotten more attention. It's pretty brilliant. Definitely top Secret Best Song on Mouth Moods for sure.

My favorite Mouth Moods songs the third to first are The Starting line, 300MB, and The End.

I haven't had trouble listening to any of the songs on all the albums. Notably, I've heard from several different people that Sexual Lion King is horrible and they can't listen to it, but I have no issues with it beyond finding it less interesting than pretty much any other song on the album.

E: Also I really wish someone somewhere could identify the bassline in The Starting Line and the synth bass in Best from Mouth Sounds, because they sound so familiar but I just cannot place them, and it's driving me nuts.

I think "One Week" is a weapon developed by the Mouth Silence universe to combat the spread of All-Star into their universe.

Just realized that the song *annoyed grunt* is a response to the question posed at its start: "how do you explain Tim Allen"

oh my god

Also, I'm unsurprised to find out Neil is almost exactly my age. All these samples are stupid catchy bits from our childhoods - even down to the hilarious obsession with the line "pissing the night away" from Tubthumping in "Piss," which was the funniest, edgiest thing ever when you're 11 and notice that lyric on the radio in front of your mom.

EDIT: a remix of the Ghostbusters song about how Ray Parker Jr loves to fuck ghosts, I'm dead
