I've reviewed the evidence, and I think maybe it's overstating it to say that Griffin has a vore fetish. It seems to me that a) it's a ridiculous comedy well he likes to go to, sort of like Sonic fandom and b) he gets a bit of a kinaesthetic/erotic tingle from stuff getting CHOMPED, but equating that with being into vore is a bit like saying someone is a cowboy because they have a Western style shirt, y'know? I'd chalk it up to "moderate oral fixation" and be done with it.

Also, insofar as enjoying watching cars get chewed up and spit out in Beam.ng Drive is vore, then I guess I have something to confront in myself.

i mean, you're right and i'm joking a bit, but i did more or less acknowledge in my earlier post that it's a super long-con goof that griffin has worked very hard at over the past few years to the point that it's kind of awe-inspiring, haha

Diantha's a pushover and AZ is only there for the novelty. Siebold was honestly the biggest threat and he's over and done with.

I haven't seen the new Nuzlocke yet, but I have watched the first two episodes of Terrace House and I'm listening to the new Rose Buddies. I would never have watched this show otherwise, but it's great.

Thanks to this thread for suggesting The Adventure Zone; I'm a huge McElroy Bros. fan (my path so far has been Monster Factory -> Griffin's Amiibo Corner -> Coolgames Inc. -> Car Boys -> MBMBaM -> Adventure Zone).

I'm a few episodes in now and absolutely loving it. It was a bit unsteady at first but they really hit their stride. I've never set foot into the well-trod ground of "watching/listening to people you like playing D&D" before, but I can totally see the appeal now. (I'm also a total D&D noob, so it's fun learning about the mechanics at the same time.)

So, with that in mind:

HELL YES I WANT THIS. I'd just listened to that episode the morning you linked to that, and it was delightful.

never thought i'd say this about anything, but i hope mbmbam do more sponsored episodes in future, the casper mattress-sponsored asmr/sleep special they just put out was probably one of their funniest episodes in a while

Heh, this is almost the exact reverse of mine. You'd just need to shove Amiibo Corner two positions to the right.

I misread "The MBMBaM Guided Sleep Experience for Spiritual Harmony" as "The MBMBaM Guided Sleep Experience for the Spiritually Horny"

I've only discovered this show a month ago, and I've already started using terms like "what's up, you cool baby?" and "fish-lifters" in my day-to-day conversations.

And I kind of feel like it's only correct to do so.

You should write them to ask whether or not they think it's a good idea.

i'm so desperate for things to listen to at work and I've plowed my way through multiple other podcasts, so now i'm listening to rose buddies. and i hate/avoid most all reality television! the mcelroys are just that pleasant to listen to (and that includes their wives).

My backwards archive binge of Mbmbam brought me up to last years Candlenights episode. Not only do I greatly appreciate the synchronicity, but I was listening to it on my headphones while Christmas shopping with my dad, and he and all the other shoppers got to enjoy me stopping a conversation every few moments to laugh uproariously.

Actually, it was probably super annoying/awkward from everyone else's perspectives, but isn't laughter and joy what this season is all about.

Actually had to pause and catch my breath when they got to explaining why you shouldn't decorate your house for Candlenights

Listening to MBMBaM - which is great; not sure why didn't bite the bullet sooner - has reminded me that I haven't actually listened to any of the Long Winters, except for The Commander Thinks Aloud, despite Roderick on the Line being super foundational for me for the last four or so years.

the whole terrible donald duck impression bit in the newest mbmbam nearly obliterated me, thank u mcelroys for the much-needed 'almost got sick' belly laugh in the midst of all the terribleness

I dropped Quality Control from my iTunes when it downloaded an hour and a half "part 1" discussion of Rogue One hosted by Charlie Hall. That guy seems to be taking over the podcast, and I absolutely cannot standing his style of talking for more than twenty minutes.

I caught up on MBMBaM, though! Only took most of a year!

The Adventure Zone really picks up after the first few episodes, when Justin really starts to get Taako.

Also, boy does Griffin use the word "Actually" when describing things a lot

Possibly not coincidentally, that "pick up" also corresponds with when Griffin starts going off-script and stops following the official pre-packaged D&D adventure that he'd been following pretty rigidly up until that point.

At this point, it's kind of hard to believe that this campaign started with the Lost Mines of Phandelver module.

When exactly? I listened to the Greblins adventure, and while I wasn't bored, I wasn't really engaged either.

'Bout middlish through Gerblins, I'd say. Right around the point where his backstory of accidentally wandering into Hogwarts and deciding to stay is revealed.

I'm pretty bummed that the upcoming TV show will apparently only be available (legally) in the US.

Also, I was not prepared for the latest Kiss the Skyrim. It starts off slow, but man, that last mod... I guess I'll have to add this series to the list of stuff I can't watch at work while keeping a straight face.
