In keeping with my tradition of being late as fuck to rap, hey yo Run The Jewels are pretty fuckin aces.

Everything about the music is just so fucking wrong. Every time you think it's gonna go right it goes left and it's maddening and gross and beautiful.

Most of my list comes from the nerdcore scene, but here it is.

MegaRan: Dude is just a legend.

MC Chris: Yeah he played some funny voices on adult swim cartoons, but I love everything he does. It's always feel good music.

MC Lars: If anyone can make a good songs about Hans Moleman they have to be good in some form. He's got a Simpsons themed album coming soon.

Ace topped a song about his new kitten with a song about being an otter and eating seafood off his belly.

So last night was amazing. I got to meet my three favorite rappers.
MC Chris was hilarious in person though I noticed all of the pictures he ever takes he seems to be angry. Though I think that's just how he is. He's also very short.

MegaRan is one of the most humble guys ever, his wife is from my home town and we had a good conversation about the city, and his teaching career. Dude is amazing.

MC Lars is a treasure, before I even got to talk to him he demanded a hug as thanks for coming to his show. I was often near the merch tables for music because there was less people crowding while the. Us ic was going on and I could see the stage fine. Throughout the night he'd talk to me about how I was enjoying everything, why the Edgar Allan Poe EP was my favorite. Came to find out Edgar Allan Poe was a inspiration to both of us. By the end of the night I felt I wasn't just a fan but a friend.

Bone Thugs & Tupac came together for Thug Love, which is way up there in the 90s rap power rankings.

The greatness of a man is measured by the power of his enemies.

Kendrick is the best current rapper and it sounds like his next release is in two weeks.

I was listening to Ice Cube's classic "We Had To Tear This Mutha Fucka Up" and realized how much the Rodney King verdict and subsequent riots informed 90s rap lyrics.
