These punstorms are about to hit bedrock. We're getting a little crusty. Maybe we should pass the mantle onto a new trend.

You guys that drop puns like this take that ability for granite. I say leave them a loam, 'cause it's hard to keep excavating good ones.

Looks like it's coming June 26th!

Any other fellow backers pouring over the digital manual? Captures the NES manual style nigh perfectly.

Oh dear. That hook jump is one of my major pet peeves in platformers. I hope the game doesn't make heavy use of it.

It reminds me of the GBA super mario bros 3 manuals. Maybe not the exact kind of nostalgia they were going for

I'm still upset that they pushed PC release back to match the console releases (as a day 1 backer, I would have liked to have had my reward when it was ready) BUT I'm still glad this is finally coming out.

Now the horrible wait until the 26th.

It reminds me of the art in the Super Mario World manual [pdf link] more than anything.

Edit: which, it turns out, has lots of the same jumping pictures as the SMB3 manual.

That's five days and 17 hours too many. I can distract myself for half an hour.

That's why, for now, we've just got to live one hour at a time.

We're Jack Bauer now.

My brother asked me last night if Shovel Knight was going to be worth playing.

I just about reached right through the Facebook messaging dealie to slap some sense into him, but opted instead to simply point him towards the trailers and Game Grumps preview on YouTube.

I just ordered it. Couldn't hold off.

Not gonna lie whenever I think about this game I come in my pants. I've been arrested nineteen times in the last six hours.
